My pen flicked across the paper creating letters that then created words, as our test were passed back to us. A question was on my mind so I tapped Scott who was beside me. "If Derek isn't the alpha, if he's not the one who bit you two, then who the hell did?" I whisper, "We don't know." Scott answers after a moment of silence.

I look to Stiles and all he does is shrug, I sigh in defeat, going to ask another question. "But the alpha killed the bus driver?" "We don't know." Stiles answered this time and I groan under my breath.

"But does Allison's dad know about the-" "I don't know!" Scott interrupts a little to loudly making the class glance back at us.

"Jeez." Stiles mumbled under his breath as he scratches his chin. I get my paper passed back to me and smile. 'B+' written in the bold red ink.

Stiles hits my shoulder and I raise my fist but than he points to Scott's paper, I lean back in my seat, my eyes automatically widen. 'Not like you!  D-. See me after class.' Scribbled on the top of his paper. "Serves his ass right for yelling at me." I mumble and both Scott and Stiles glare at me. Scott takes his paper out of view as Stiles sighs.

"Dude, you need to study more...That was a joke." He states after Scott doesn't answer, "Scott it's one test." I try but he just glanced at me. "You're gonna make it up. Do you want help studying?" Stiles adds and Scott sighs.

"No. I'm studying with Allison after school today." "That's my boy." Stiles praised with a smile, "We're just studying." Scott deflects and I chuckle. "Uh, no, you're not." Stiles argues.

"No, I'm not?" Scott faltered, and I rolled my eyes. "Not if I'm forced to live vicariously through you. If you go to her house today and squander that colossal opportunity, I swear to god I'll have you de-balled." Stiles threatened but I furrowed my brows.

"What colossal opportunity?" "Sex. Sage. Sex." Stiles beamed and Scott turned himself towards us. "Okay. Just...-" He looked to me, "Stop with the questions." I rolled my eyes, "No." I state and he huffs. I smirk and lean over in my seat and pinch his cheeks, "That's a good Scotty boy." I coo, and he pulls my hand away while trying to hide a smile.

Stiles and I walked out of the school headed for his car. His hand on his bag  strap as the other held his keys. He unlocked the car and we entered, I placed my bag at my feet, as he threw his, in the back. He reversed, than out the car in drive and drove just a little until a man came out in front of us and put his hand up making him press the brakes.

"Shit Stiles." I groan as I steady myself. I look up to see the man is, Derek Hale. "Oh, my god." He exclaims, people start to beep at us, and Derek doesn't look well. I exit the car and walk over to him.

"You okay?" He opens his mouth but then faints in my arms. Horns are still honking and people are looking over, I start to pick him up, but it's proving to be difficult but I managed. "What the hell." Scott said as he came over, talking to Stiles.

Stiles and Scott came over to me with Derek in my arms, "What are you doing here?" Scott probed with urgency. "I was shot." He mumbled and made my eyebrows raise. "He's not looking so good, dude." Stiles commented. I felt the blood and started to hold down on the spot the blood was seeping from. He grunted but didn't protest.

"Why aren't you healing?" Stiles probed, "I can't. It was—it was a different kind of bullet." Derek breathed out and I clutched him to me placing his head on my chest just in case if he were to pass out. "A sliver bullet?" Stiles exclaimed, "No you idiot." Derek snarled, "Wait, wait. That's what she meant when she said you had forty-eight hours." Scott concluded and Stiles eyes widened.

"Shit why didn't I think of that." Stiles mumbled and I chuckled. "I would have given you a sec." I chuckle and he smiled softly but the heavy grunt that left Derek, brought me back into the moment. "Who—who said forty eight hours?" He questioned.
