"Bye mom... bye dad! It was lovely seeing you again" Carlos waved goodbye to his parents as TK and himself watched the drive off.

"That was fun wasn't it!" TK cheered as they made their way back indoors. "I'm so proud of you"

"I thought, maybe they deserved to know - but how they had their suspicions was funny" Carlos smiled back at TK.

"I know - I think I gave it away earlier today when my face dropped when you said I was your friend"

"That was probably why, I mean my mother did raise her eyebrow at the sudden change" Carlos smiled as he sat down, watching TK go into the kitchen seen as he offered to do the rest of the cleaning seen as Carlos cooked half of the food.

"Hey Babe... seen as we both have holiday leave, do you want to maybe go to LA - I know you have some friends out there, that maybe you want to have a catch up with - but it would be nice to go there and have some alone time" Carlos spoke up looking up to see TK in the kitchen cleaning up the rest of the stuff from the dinner with Carlos's parents.

"Wait? Are you being serious - we can go out to LA and go see Buck and the 118?" TK looked up, shocked at the fact Carlos had that idea of going to LA.

"Yeah - I think we both deserve to get away from all this drama, and be a happy couple without having to cancel last minute on each over if we are called into work"

"I would love that!" TK ran over from the kitchen to where Carlos was sitting as he jumped on top of Carlos he attached their lips with a hunger inside of himself.

As Carlos pulled away he looked TK directly into the eyes, as if they where communicating with just eye contact.

"Good job I know some people down in LA too - I might go see Athena - she works for the LAPD, but works closely with the 118, and I'm sure her husband works for the 118 so we could go down to their station first thing and see if we've caught them at the right time" Carlos smiled again as they decided to plan their trip there and then.

"I'm sure Buck will have space in his apartment for us - I mean he always has space, it's Buck. I wonder if he's still with that Eddie guy..."

"I didn't realise Buck went out with a man - I'm guessing he's from the same firehouse" Carlos chuckled, shaking his head slightly as he caught up with Bucks life story.

"Yup - Eddie was an army medic before going to LA, he has a kid too" TK added onto what his boyfriend was talking about.

The couple spoke for twenty minutes about what they where going to do with their time in LA.
"I guess we have our trip planned out then!"

"Yes we do! I can't wait!" TK cheered as he straddled Carlos kissing him with passion.

"Easy tiger" Carlos flashed his smile once again in front of TK making him want to finish off their make out session somewhere near their bed.
"We can't spend our days in bed - we actually need to get ready to go down to LA"

"Ugh, can't we stay like this just for a few more minute please" TK begged like a child wanting candy.

"No"

"You're boring you know that Carlos!" TK laughed slightly, pushing Carlos down as he got off of him.

"Well at least I want to get ready to go to LA"

"Okay... okay - I shall get my stuff ready too then"

After what felt like days Carlos and TK arrived in LA, driving around to find TK's friends fire station - which was also pretty easy to find.

"TK? What are you doing down here in LA? I thought you worked as a firefighter up in Austin? Don't tell me you quit? And what's your boyfriend doing here too?" Buck poked his head from round the corner of the fire truck, realising who had just walked into the station.

"We've come down on our holiday leave - it was Carlos's idea actually to come down this way to see you all and to have a catch up, seen as I was taken to hospital with a broken leg last time we saw each over"
"And I'm sure Carlos thought you was trying to flirt with me on the hospital" TK laughed looking over to a confused Carlos.

"Hey! I did no such thing!"

"Remember when everyone there called us dumbass and dumbasser because we tried to look for our teams that had gone missing because Owen and Hen where in a plane together, which went down!"

"How could I forget! You wanted to steal one of the 126 trucks instead of one of the 118 trucks because Bobby would've killed you if you scratched it." TK chuckled as he remembered the events of the few days they spent together.

"Oh! So you're the famous dumbasser! I've heard a lot about you and your team" TK turned to see a older man standing on the balcony looking down on the three of them.

"Captain Nash! Pleasure to finally meet you - and I am indeed dumbasser, call me TK though." He chuckled smiling up to Bobby.

"Alright, I'll leave you two it - but Buck you better have those trucks cleaned before you leave" Bobby ordered in a stern tone.

"Yes Cap"

"Damn, they really making you clean the fire trucks how unfortunate" TK chuckled to himself as he leant into Carlos's hold.

"I'm glad all I have to do is Chuck water over the care" Carlos joined in with laughing at Buck.

"You're a medic too?" Buck questioned Carlos.

"Nah, I'm a cop - Austin Police department, I know a few people from up here that have helped on cases down in Austin before"

"Oh damn, so you know Athena?"

"What Sargent Grant - hell yeah I do, I've spoke to her a few times in the past when I've come up here to get information on a case or if she's down in Austin she tends to be quite talkative." Carlos explained as he watched Buck clean the fire trucks.

"You'll have to go down to the police department and see her - or she might be coming around here soon to see Bobby, that's if you're around"

"Yeah - we're planning on staying a week or so - but I need to ask you a favour... could we maybe stay at your apartment for the week?" TK messed with his hands as he asked the favour to Buck.

"I'm sure that will be fine - let me check with Eddie, because if anything I can go stay around at Eddie's for the week if you need space."

"What about me Buck?" Eddie spoke coming out from the locker room.
"Oh hi TK! This must be your boyfriend..."

"Carlos... Carlos Reyes - nice to finally meet you"

"Ah! Buck has told me a lot about you both since when we came back from the wild fires. How come you're all down here then?"

"We've come own here just on our holiday breaks that have been building up, I think we both needed it after all the hell we've been out through recently" TK smiled, shaking Eddie's hand.

"You'll enjoy your time down here - come to our place tonight, my place... Hope your don't mind Chris being there too"

"That's his kid babe" TK whispered seeing Carlos look partially confused at who Chris was.

"Oh yeah, that would be fine"

"Great come round at around eight tonight? We will be off our shift then" Eddie smiled before saying his goodbye as he had something to do.
