"I'm thinking... We make a pretty good team"

It had been two months since Carlos and TK got together... Officially. TK was spending more time with Carlos than he thought he would - he finally felt at home in Austin.

"Babe, are we going out tonight with Paul? I remember you saying something about how he wanted to go out?" Carlos began, shouting up to TK who was still sprawled out in Carlos' bed not wanting to move.

"Yeah, when he gets off of shift - he said something about wanting to go out and meeting someone new" TK groaned, knowing he had a shift soon, which he most likely was going to be late for if he stayed in bed any longer.

"I guess it didn't work out with that one chick from when he saved from that glitter being in her eyes after that fight in the strip club" Carlos raised an eyebrow, watching his boyfriend struggle to put his trousers back on.

"Yeah - we told him to tell her, he was trans - she supported him but she said she wouldn't be able to do it." TK smiled slightly, feeling bad for Paul.

"Oh, that must have been shit. Want me to take you to work? Or do you want to take yourself so you can vibe before the chaos begins" TK strolled overseeing his boyfriend in his Police hoodie.

"You don't start for another hour - so I guess I could have a lift and you can say hi to the team for once." TK quickly leaned up kissing Carlos, smiling.

"That means we can go for round two - I can switch the light bar on and the sirens. You'll be at work in no time" Carlos smirked, wrapping his strong arms around TK, pulling him closer.

"Carlos, we can't - I can't be late anymore - We always go for round two and that always means we get carried away and I get moaned at by my dad." TK grabbed Carlos's cheek pulling him away as Carlos kissed his neck hungrily. Carlos groaned out of annoyance but soon just stood hugging his boyfriend, enjoying the comfort of his boyfriend being there.

"Fine, I guess it's time to take you to work" Carlos groaned, grabbing his keys to his SUV, grabbing his bag which had his clothes in for later tonight.

"It feels like forever since I've been to the firehouse," Carlos began as he started his car up.

"That's because I was put on medical leave for how long after being shot - then when I was on shift you had already started your shift." TK chuckled to himself as he plugged his phone into the car - playing his playlist which gets him in his vibe for work.

Carlos knew the car ride would be silent, which he didn't mind - it was just him and TK vibing after all.

They had finally got to the 126 station within minutes - surprisingly there was hardly any traffic, for once Austin was quiet. "Common then, let's go see the team" TK smiled jumping out the car, before leaning on the front waiting for Carlos to get out - he stood taking in the view of the front of the station.

"Look! It's the couple who will save 2020!" Judd called out from on top of one of the fire trucks, Paul looked up from the side of the truck waving at the two.

"Hi, Carlos! Hi Tyler Kennedy!" Mateo smirked, watching TK groan at Mateo using his full name.

"Say that again Mateo, I dare you - my boyfriend will arrest you for saying my name like that!" TK smirked, "But please don't ever call me that again." Carlos wrapped his arm around TK as he went to rant on about his name.

"TK! My boy, you're here early.. For once" Owen called out as he made his way down from his office, both Carlos and TK made their way over to Owen, TK pulled away from Carlos's grip before hugging his dad. "Ah, Carlos - it's nice to see you around here and not coming to arrest anyone! How are you doing?" Owen smiled as he brought Carlos into a hug too.

"I'm good Owen, How are you doing?" Carlos smiled, as TK clung back onto Carlos.

"I'm still chugging along." Owen smiled, "Are you staying long Carlos?"

Carlos looked down at his phone realizing he only had fifteen minutes until his shift started. "I've got to go now actually - it was nice stopping by for once." TK clung to Carlos more as he spoke.

"I will be seeing you in five hours it will be fine - I love you," Carlos said as he brought TK in for a hug, as he kissed TK's head lightly.

"Fine" TK groaned again as he let go of Carlos, smiling.

"Message me if you need anything" TK spoke, making Carlos nod.

"Alright firefighter - go save the day" Carlos smirked at TK, waving goodbye to everyone in the fire station, as he exited making his way to work.
