HER HEART SPED, WAS THIS REALLY HAPPENING? Out of all the people, what was the chance that it had to be him?
"Suhye? Are you okay?"
The thoughts racing through her cluttered head stopped. A beat.
Heeseung slowly walked over to her, "Suhye?"
"I'm... just fine." She watched him a bit skeptically, but still tried to smile.
The boy nodded at her, not wanting to push her if she wasn't comfortable. He pulled his bag off the table and riffled through it to find something. Suhye couldn't help but notice his precise motions, he didn't make a single unneeded flick of his finger.
A goofy smile spread across his face as he pulled out something from his bag, "Here it is." He read it over.
No. No. No. That can't be it, right? No...
"So about your 'Spook-mates' idea, I think it might be a bit hard to judge the winners... But, what if we bring back the idea of the dance battle? Like everyone gathers in a circle--maybe a pathway would work better--and they dance along with their partner? I think it'd get the students really riled up and everyone could be pulling off their special tricks, yet people too uncomfortable wouldn't have to participate!"
Exhaling, her eyes fluttered shut, "Yeah. Yeah, that's a really good idea." Suhye sank into one of the chairs adorning the room.
He sat down on the chair beside her, taking a sip of his pear juice. "Is something bothering you? I don't mean to make you uncomfortable, but you just look pretty uneasy."
Suhye's eyes turned from her messing with her hands on the table to his face.
He posed with his index finger and thumb under his chin, "After all, you can talk to me."
"Yeah, yeah. You're the coolest student planning president I know."
He posed again, putting on a Batman-like voice, "Of course I am."
The two burst into laughter. Suhye almost forgot about her current dilemma, almost.
So, Sunghoon has his letter for sure... Jay. Oh no, he can't have his right? Maybe I just dropped Sunghoon's letter into my mailbox by accident, yeah. Right? Yeah. That's gotta be it. What about Jake's?! No. No. No.
Suhye screamed her head off, in her head. She sounded so unconvincing, she couldn't even fool herself.
"Suhye? Daehee is calling me for something in the music room."
The girl blinked a bit, "Oh! Right, go ahead."
He waved as he exited the room.
Daehee. The assertive, bold and eccentric girl that had declared her friendship with Suhye in the mere minutes they had first met. Suhye hadn't actually seen the pink-streaked girl in awhile, for apparently she was busy with a different project.
Even asking around the other members, no one seemed to be able to get a hold of the girl.
Actually, Heeseung seemed to be the only one in contact with her.
Suhye double-checked her classes for the rest of the day on her phone - fortunately, it seemed she didn't have any classes with any of her letter recipients.
Seemed.

"So what do you think our duo name should be?"
Suhye wanted to bang her head against her desk.
"Jungwon, can't I just be your manager or something? Like I literally can't sing or dance or rap or anything!"
He tilted his head, "But, we're supposed to both be our profession?"
Though Suhye had walked into the class in fear, only then realizing that she had a literal project with the Yang Jungwon. Nevertheless, she quickly realized that she had nothing to be afraid of, though she had a lot to be irritated about.
Yang Jungwon. He looked like an angel with his round eyes and porcelain complexion. And maybe he was one--if so, he definitely didn't think she was worth seeing it from him. But, there were all these unknown things to him that Suhye couldn't even think to unravel.
Jungwon was infamously known as the only person most people have seen that absolutely hated the idea of the tattoos. No one knew what the boy's tattoo was, only that it lay a little above his wrist. He always kept it covered with a band-aid and almost always wore long sleeved shirts.
She groaned at him.
The boy half-smiled back and quickly scratched a few ideas in his notebook, "I guess we could leave the naming out for now. What should our concept be?"

RING! RING!
Suhye sprinted out of the school building with one thing on her mind, don't come in contact with the recipients, especially Jay.
Though she did feel bad for leaving without Niki (and she definitely did not like much physical activity), she just couldn't risk it.
She wasn't even sure if she had left with everything she needed.
Breaths getting longer, pace slowed down.
Suhye was met with her front door.
Hastily unlocking it, she threw off her shoes.
And ran up to her bedroom to look for a certain cookie tin.
