sophies pov

I woke up to bright lights, my vision blurry and I started to move my head to the side and that's when I saw my mom and dad sitting there my mom halfway asleep and my dad was outside my room talking to the looks like it could be my parent's friend. and that's when my dad looked back into the room and came in and woke up my mom. he said, "Sophie can you hear me?" "yah I can hear you dad" mom had tears going down her cheeks and both of their eyes were puffy from what looks like from crying. "okay I'm going to go get the doctor," dad told my mom as he stepped out. my mom started to talk to me "Hunny are you okay? you scared me and your dad to death. what's the last thing you remember?" you quickly questioned me "I'm sorry mom I scared you. and Ummm ...." I started to tell her what happened when will and Nat came into the room with my dad. and they had gloves on like normal and like a type of gown on I never really understand why but I was told it was protocol. "hey Sophie, how are you feeling" will ask me. "I'm doing much better than before not feels as sick and dizzy" I stated to him as I was still tired. "I'm glad you feel better. I do have to ask do you remember what happened before you passed out." I sat there quiet for a moment then I spoke up again. "after my parents left, I started to get ready for bed and I put and my PJs and then I when out to the living room started to watch a movie less than halfway through, I started to feel light-headed and dizzy and got up to get some water and then went and sat back down and thought that it was nothing because I could have just was pushing myself too far for the day. then I started to feel dizzier and" I stopped for a second and had to cough for a second the I continued "that's when I started to feel sick and started like I couldn't breathe either and I got up went to the bathroom ended up getting sick and I tried to call my parents I couldn't get ahold of them so then I call Nat and then she passed the phone to my mom and by the I was having a hard time breathing and I felt like I was going to pass out and then the next thing I hear is my mom asking me a question and me passing and then waking up here." I told will and nat. that when Nat and will just look at me then at my parents then at each other, I started to get worried of what it was, so I decided to speak up "what is it?" I questioned them. "when we did a chest X-ray, we could out go an infection and. all the mucus in your lungs so we have you on antibiotic's and IV fluids." Nat told me. I sat there knowing what was to come next to me get transferred to the CF floor and then I would probably be here overnight and have to stay for a couple of nights. I just sat the quiet and sighed. dad came over to me and hugged me and said "it's all going to be okay Soph we have been here before, so we know what's to come. we will make it through it." He reassured me. I sat there and looked at me and will then gave a small nod and then they let us know that we will start to get you admitted. and then left.

matts pov

after Nat and will left and Sophie fell asleep me and gabby went out into the waiting room where everyone was still there from 51 and intelligence. and when Gabby and I went out Brett was first to speak up "is everything okay?" she asked still confused and kind of worried. I didn't know what to say I then looked to gabby and then we both knew it was time to let them know after 13 years of hiding it was time and then I looked to the chef he gave me a slight reinsuring nod as if he said you guys got this. then I started " me and gabby have kept a big secret for a long time and I think it's time to come clean." and everyone's heads looked straight at me and gabby in confusion. and I then looked back a gabby and toke here hand because I could see she was scared. then gabby said "me and matt have a daughter her name is Sophie and I know some of you are confused and some of your you are mad at us and that is fine but we need to keep her healthy and safe... so we are sorry," she said looking down at the floor and then Brett walked up to her and gave her a big hug and turned to both of us and said "I know for my I could never be mad at you guys. you have your reasons and all but it's just a shock that's all." after she said that everyone gave a nod and then I saw gabby brother, Antonio was in shock and gabby let go of my hand and went over to him and started to say to him "Antonio I am so sorry I never told you I-" but he cut her off by a hug and said "it's okay, but I'm just glad I know now." he said as he pulls away from the hug.

gabby pov

Me and Matt just told everyone about our daughter, and I went over to Antonio and told him "I'm so sorry I never told you I-" but he cut me off by pulling me into a hug and said. "it's okay, but I'm just glad I know now." then he pulled away. and he said, "can I meet her?" he asked me and Matt. I looked at Matt then smiled and said, "we can go ask her, but it might have to be in a little while." I told him because she was supposed to be getting transferred to the CF floor. Antonio said, "well how old is she, sis," he asked questioning me. "she 13 yrs. old" I replied. I turned to Matt and went to Matt and asked him "have they transfer Soph to the CF floor yet?" "yah she up there now Will told me that they want her to do chest PT and a vest and her breathing treatments. So, someone should be up there now doing chest PT and then we can go up there." Matt told me. by the time me and Matt were told she was done with PT everyone from the firehouse and intelligence has left so it was just me, Matt, and my brother. then Will came in "hey guys I just wanted to let you know that Sophie has been admitted and she is on floor 4 room 325. So, you can go up anytime and me and Nat will be up there In a little bit to check up on her." "thank you, Will," Matt said. will just nod and walked away.

matts pov

Will just came and gave us an update on Sophie. I turn to gabby and said "we should probably go out there. she is probably wounding where we are." "yah we should" gabby said and then she turned to Antonio and said, "let me and Matt go up there and check on her real quick and then we will come back down to get you." he then smiled and gave a nod.
