I arrived at the castle, led to my room, and I cried. I cried and cried and cried and cried. I was going to miss my family so much, and I could be dead within two weeks so, life was great.

I run down the halls, trying to find a drink. I peek in rooms near me, girls sit at desks, girls lay in bed, girls sit on the balcony. But me, I was running. I bumped into a muscular body that nearly knocked me down. "Miss are you okay?" Oh my- the prince. "Oh- you are- the prince?" He nodded, his blonde hair falling over his forehead, his white shirt hung over my nightdress, his arms holding mine, he finally released me. "I'm sorry, I just uh- needed some water." He looked at me carefully. "It's this way, my dear." What?

"Don't call me dear." He turned towards me, shocked I had just spoken to him like that. "Okay then, who are you?" I sucked in a breath. "Aurora, and we can't be together, no wait! I mean like not together together like here." He nodded slowly, like he understood me but he didn't. "We are going to see each other tomorrow. So I should probably find my water and go." I turned in the wrong direction. He grabbed my hand quickly, and spun me back around, I was facing towards him, our faces a few inches apart.

"Uh-" I turned my head away from him, he cleared his throat. "The er- water?" He gulped and pointed behind him. "This way." It was extremely awkward on the way to the kitchen, I trailed behind him and he looked back for me every two seconds. "Here you go." He passed me a gold cup, filled with clear, water, I don't know what I was expecting to be perfectly honest. "Thank you. I should get back to my room now." He agreed with me and I walked off, cup in hand, knowing his eyes were totally on me.

"Um- do you know where room 21 is?" I tapped a random girl on the back, she turned and smiled. "Nice to meet you too. I'm in room 22 so follow me." I realised I probably sounded quite rude. "I'm Aurora." She didn't answer me, returning the due favour. "Auryn. I'm Auryn." Her golden hair looked perfect on her. "Aurora, our names are quite similar haha." She didn't laugh with me, she was acting cold. "I'll find it myself from here thanks." I brushed past her and strutted up to room 21, she had irritated me.

I slammed the door behind me and grabbed some paper and a pen. I began to write a letter to my family.

Dear Mother and Father,

It's lovely here, beautiful rooms and amazing beds! It's so much more luxurious then our life is, Prince Caspian is beyond lucky!

Speaking of a Prince Caspian, I met him early, a small advantage for me. He is kind and good looking! I'm not sure if I'm his soulmate, but I do not feel the urge to kill him, that's how I would feel if I was the murderer. I am just happy to be here, thank you for convincing me.

The girls are quite cold but I think that's because they want to win, and become princess/queen. That isn't what I want, I want to marry the prince for love, not the title.

I miss you already, we will see each other soon, maybe even when I'm the princess!

From,

Aurora

The letter made me tear up a bit. I did already miss them, dearly, quite a shock. But everything I said in the letter was true. I don't want to marry the prince for money, or the title, I would like to marry him for love. But love cannot be forced.
