In the past 2 months, Tommy had gone from being slightly taller than me to being at least 3 inches taller than me. While I hadn't grown height-wise, my horns and ears were definitely longer. There was no way to miss them if you looked at me. I had come to terms with them, but I wondered when they would stop growing. Soon enough they were going to look just like that man's ears and horns…

I quickly pushed all thoughts of him out of my mind. I never saw him again, and for all I know, he never existed. I did hit my head really hard that day. I walked downstairs to see everyone staring at something on the table. I quickly ran over to see what they were looking at. Tommy grabbed whatever it was and hid it behind his back. Phil looked at Tommy angrily. "Tommy, you shouldn't have done that. We have to let him see it."

"Uh, see what?" I asked. Wilbur cleared his throat. "An envelope appeared in the mail, and I went ahead and opened it. I thought it was just going to be junk mail, but… Tommy, show Tubbo." He said.
Tommy turned the piece of paper towards me. It read:

Happy Birthday, Tubbo!

Signed,
Your father
(Can I even call myself that anymore?)

I was speechless, and so was everyone else. "I mean, for all we know, this could be some creepy stalker playing a prank on us-" Wilbur started. "Shut up, Wilbur." Tommy responded. I grabbed the paper out of Tommy's hands. The handwriting was terrible, and while it wasn't as bad as the handwriting on the other letter, it was painstakingly similar. There was no denying the letters were written by the same person. "My father." I whispered to myself. I couldn't stop the tears from forming.

"Tubbo! It's alright!" Tommy said, wrapping his arm around me. Before I knew it, Wilbur and Phil had also wrapped their arm around me. Tommy motioned to Techno, who was standing outside the circle with his arms crossed. "Oh, fine." He said. He walked up and patted my head. Before he could leave, Tommy grabbed him, forcing him to join the group hug.

I don't know how long we stood like that. The tears eventually stopped coming, so I sniffled and turned my head. "Ah! Ow!" Tommy cried out. He was clutching his face in his hands. Before I knew it, everyone had gathered around Tommy. There was a long, fairly deep scratch along his cheek. "What happened?" I asked. Everyone looked at me, and it took me a couple of seconds to realize the scrape was from the tip of my horn.

"Tommy! I'm so sorry!" I cried. The tears were back already. I wanted to go up and hug him, but I was too scared something would happen, and I would injure him even more. "Don't worry guys, I'm fine! Ooooo, do you think it will leave a scar? That would look so cool!" Tommy exclaimed. I didn't even know how to respond. Phil dragged Tommy over to the sink to wash the blood off. "Wilbur, grab some bandages. Preferably the biggest you can find! We are going to need to line up a lot of them!" Phil demanded. Wilbur quickly ran off.

I stood there and watched as Phil cleaned Tommy's face and put the bandages on. Wilbur leaned over and whispered in my ear, "You're going to need to cover your head with a pillow soon enough. Oh wait, you'd just rip a hole right through that!" Wilbur joked. It only made me cry more.

I knew I looked like a baby, but I ran into my room as fast as I could. "Tubbo, I'm sorry!" Wilbur yelled up at me. I ignored him. I walked into our closet, which wasn't really a walk-in closet. As I tried to sit down in the corner, I got a shirt stuck on my head. While trying to free my head, my horns ripped a hole right through it.

At that point I had already been pushed past my breaking point. I banged my head against the wall as hard as I could. It hurt a little bit, but I knew if I hit it harder it would hurt more. I banged it again and again, harder and harder each time. I think at one point I dented the wall, but I was in too much of a daze to realize. I could faintly hear everyone else screaming my name, trying to find me. "He's in here!" Tommy yelled as the closet door creaked open. I banged my head again, the hardest yet. This time, I fell right to the ground, watching the light slowly fade away.
