A/N: J.J is Jimmy's son in this one-shot and is like 1 y/o in this because I'm lazy.

Karl and I are eating an early diner together at my house when a phone call from Jimmy comes through.

"Who's that?" Karl asks while taking another bite of his salad.

"Jimmy," I tell him and answer the call.

"Hey, Chris this is super important. Can you please babysit my kid tonight? I know it's short notice but Maddie and I need to go somewhere and can't cancel."

"Oh um. Yeah, I guess?" I say unsurely while shrugging my shoulders. "Can Karl come too?" 

Karl looks at me confused because he didn't know why his name was just tossed into the conversation or where I wanted him to go.

"Sure but can you come at... What's the time? Okay, so it's 6:00 now so show up in an hour and don't be late."

"Yeah see you there." 

"I'll just text you the rest of the details and all," Jimmy says then hangs up while Karl continues to look at me.

"What's up with Jimmy?" He asks me.

"Oh well... He actually wants us to babysit," I tell him knowing how he is going to react.

"Wh- I suck with kids though."

"Have you ever tried babysitting?"

"That would be a solid no."

"Oh come on, you'd make a great dad."

"Lucky for me and not so much for you, I don't want kids."

"Wait what did you say?" I question if I heard him correctly. "Did you say not so much for me because I want kids? Does that mean you plan on staying with me? Like forever?"

"Um, I actually don't think I said that," He said a little flustered.

I chuckle at him, "Don't worry, I plan on staying with you too."

He smiles and covers his face with his hand while turning his head embarrassed.

"That doesn't change the fact that you would still make a great dad," I tell him.

He turns back to me and raises an eyebrow, "Would I though?"

"Of course. You are kind, caring, and lovable. Even if you don't want to have kids, this would still be a great experience for us," I try to convince him, and all of what I said was true.

He lets out a giggle, "That's kinda gay."

"Oh yeah?"

He takes another bite of his food and nods, "Yeah pretty much."

"Aren't you the guy who is staying at my house and sleeping in my bed with me? What about the time you kissed me? Don't forget the fact that we are literally dating."

"Huh... Yeah, that's kinda gay too," He breaks into a laugh and I join him.

Just then, I get a long text from Jimmy that looks like this.

"Maddie and I are leaving at 7:10 so make sure you are here by 7:00. If you need help with anything just text us and we can help you out. We will head back at around 9:00 so it's only two hours. I'll pay you both and Maddie made a meal for him already in the fridge so just heat it up and you'll be fine. Once again I can't thank you enough."
