Annie's POV

The camp was all packed up and we all were ready to leave.

It was safe to say that I would not leave my family's side. I had missed them so much.

"Can I pull you away for a second, Your Majesty?" Caspian asked, looking at me.

"Oh, please, just call me Annabelle or Annie, Caspian. But what can I do for you?" I ask him, walking away from Peter's side towards him.

"I was hoping I could show you something and then ask some questions." He responded. I nodded and followed in over to the pile of weapons we stole last night.

"Do you think we stole enough weapons?" He asked me, nerves present in his voice.

"I think we have just enough to protect ourselves. You did a good job last night. And according to Reep, you have proven yourself to be a good leader." I respond, hoping to make him feel less nervous.

"I just--" "You just did all you could. What's done is done so let's work with what we've got." I say, grabbing his shoulders so he pays attention to what I said.

"Thanks, Annie." Caspian thanks.

"Time for our hike, men!" Glenstorm yells out, announcing our departure.

-----

We were so close to the How and I had to admit, I was still nervous about meeting back up with Will. Peter, sensing my nerves, squeezed my hand in comfort making me turn and smile to him. I reached into my bag and pulled out the blanket for comfort.

A minute or two later, Aslan's How came into view. Centaurs were standing on both sides of the entrance and were raising their swords in respect for our entrance.

Out of respect, everyone held back, allowing us to continue forward, and just as we all walked down the isle to be coronated, we walked into How in the same order.

There was a young centaur boy who was holding his sword too low but centaur soldier next to him quickly noticed and helped him which made me smile. We entered the How and I looked out to see many Narnian soldiers making weapons, just as I was told at the camp before.

Peter and I hung back to look at the workers and weapons more while the others went ahead.

"It may not be what you are used to, but it is defensible." Caspian said from behind us.

"It'll be just fine, thank you." I said to him.

"Guys! You may want to see this!" Susan shouted over to us from the corner.

Both Peter and I follow Susan into a hallway, Peter grabbing a torch from the wall so we can both see.

Carvings of our reign lined the walls telling our stories. Me accepting my position as the Great Warrior and Daughter of the Trees, Peter killing his first wolf and being Knighted, Aslan and I on the Stone Table, The Battle of Beruna, our coronation, mine and Peter's wedding, and even Will's birth. I laughed as saw a picture of when Will was holding onto Aslan's mane and wouldn't let go. I hold onto the blanket tighter.

"It's us..." Susan said.

"What is this place?" Lucy questioned the Prince next to her.

"You don't know?" He looked at us questioningly. When we didn't answer, he grabbed his own torch and led us down a dark tunnel. I could see Lucy lingering on a picture of Mr. Tumnus so I put my hand on her shoulder for comfort. She gave me a small smile before we both started down the hallway after Caspian.

Using the torch, Caspian lit something next to him. Suddenly, that small fire spread all around the room, revealing carvings of Narnians and in the center, of Aslan. But in the middle of the room laid the Stone Table. My breath hitched, and I couldn't help but remember all the pain I went through.
