Annie's POV

"Peter!" Caspian called out, pointing behind us.

One of the the Lords that was standing next to Miraz before, drew his sword and charged at us.

Peter met him in the middle and the Telmarine swung his sword towards him. Peter quickly blocked it and then sliced at the mans chest, he then followed through by turning around. The man fell to the ground and Peter quickly recoiled and sliced the man's head off.

He instructed everyone to get ready as did Lord Sopespian. We all stood there when suddenly, rocks rained from the sky. The Telmarines were using their catapults...

The stones came crashing down and the Telmarine army started to charge at us.

"Caspian, now!" I called back to him. He took off on his horse, Glenstorm behind him, into the How for our back-up plan.

The stones continued to rain down on us when Peter started counting. As soon as he reached ten, the Telmarine army was near.

The ground crumpled underneath in front of them. It only took care of a fourth of them though. Since they were stuck, we took this as an opportunity to rain out arrows down on them, pulling down the army to about half the size as it started. The rest of the army went around the hole and started charging at us again.

"Charge!" Peter screamed. We all ran towards the soldiers, ready to end this. Moments later, Caspian and the soldier with him came out from behind the Telmarines, allowing us to surround them.

I ran into the battle and let Nightshade do her work. I skillful maneuvered through the crowds, taking down every soldier I could without getting hurt.

Peter joined me by my side a moment later, allowing us to cover each other's backs.

"How you doing back there?" I yelled out with a smile.

"Just peachy, you?" He responded, still cutting down soldiers.

Peter and I cut down mainly all the soldiers around us before we looked out again.

Hundreds of troops cam marching out of the trees.

"Oh my..." I breathed out.

"Lucy?" Peter asked me, hoping that I could feel her or the something.

I shook my head, telling him that I hadn't sense anything.

The Telmarines pushed more fire power on us and started destroying the How, preventing us from escaping. The Telmarine army started to surround us. Susan, Ed, and Caspian met up with Peter and I. We all knew that the only way out of this was to fight. Even if we were severely outnumbered.

Ed threw down his crossbow and then grabbed his sword. Peter looked at him and nodded. They were in this together. Peter started to run forward, Ed, Susan, and Caspian followed in pursuit.

But I stood in place.

Something was keeping me in place.

Someone was keeping me in place.

"Climb to the top of the How, Daughter of the Trees. Only when blood reunites shall the power of nature be brought back to life."

Aslan.

Blood reunites?

Will...

I immediately ran to the How and started climbing. I could hear my family call after me but I didn't listen. I grabbed onto the rocks and held on for dear life as rock continued to crash into the How from the catapults. I needed to reach the top. I continued to climb, using every chance I got to get higher.
