Annie's POV

To say that I slept deep was an understatement. After the day of fighting and using my magic, I was dead tired.

I groaned at the light that was burning my eyes. I could hear the soft flapping of the curtains in the open window. I opened my eyes slowly and saw the sunrise through the window shining through. A small smile made its way to my face as I exhaled in bliss.

I tried to get up and move but Peter's hand stopped me. I successfully moved his arm and got out, wrapping a silk robe around me and walking out to the balcony.

"Darling, come back to bed, it's too early." Peter groaned from the bed.

"You're missing the sunrise, Pete." I told him.

He got out of bed himself and came over to me, wrapping his arms around me from behind.

"You're my sunshine, love." He told me, kissing me on the neck.

"Aww, that was cheesy." I chuckled.

We both looked out at the view and soaked it in. We both were avoiding it but we knew that our time here was coming to an end... we could feel it.

"Our son is being crowned King today." Peter stated, still trying to believe it.

"... I don't wanna leave him again, Peter." I turned to him, suddenly bringing up the thing we were avoiding.

"I know, hun. I don't either..." He said, pulling me closer and into his chest.

We heard a loud knock on the door before it busted out.

"Good morning! Good morning! Good morning!" Lucy cheered running out to us on the balcony.

"Good morning, Lu." I smiled the best I could to her.

"What's wrong?" She asked, seeing both Pete and mine's expressions.

"Nothing. What's with the morning celebration?" Peter asked her, avoiding the conversation.

"Today's the day that we make history! Both and Telmarine and Narnian King will be crowned and peace will ring across the lands! How could you not be excited?! Now hurry, get dressed! There's breakfast waiting for us in the dining room!" Lucy cheered before running out of the room.

"Well, we can't say no to that smile." I chuckled to Peter.

"You know, if we ever have another kid, and it's a girl. I'd want her to be like Lucy." Peter said.

"Another kid, but Pete...." I started but he stopped me.

"I know were young because of the wardrobe but when we're older again. I mean... our son is our age and we missed out on raising him." Peter said.

"When we're older again, I would like to. And you're right, if we did have a little girl, I'd want her to have Lucy's spirit." I told him.

Peter smiled at me before pulling me off the balcony and back into the room. "Come, let's get ready for the coronation."

Peter's POV

The breakfast was going by smoothly. The food was delicious and rather reminiscent. The only thing that was missing was Will. Call it a father's instinct but I wanted to find him, I could sense that something was troubling him.

"I'm going to go find him, be right back." I told my wife and siblings.

I walked to his room and knocked on his door. I had to have a servant show me his room since this castle was bigger than it looked.
