BE MINE

JI EUN
She huffed and flipped her hair back as some strands were covering her face.
"Are you alright?" Mark asked worried.
"Yeah, just drive.. please.." she said massaging her forhead.

"So, where do you have to go to?" Mark asked while driving.
"Nowhere, let's just go to my apartment.." she said looking out of the window.
"But you texted me that y-" Mark started.
She cut him off as she decided to speak.
"I lied to you, okay?! I just didn't want you to pick me up!" she freaked out.
He looked at her, looking out of the window, concerned for her. He looked at his mirror and could see from it's reflection that she was silently crying.

"Ji Eun, what happened today at school?" he asked with his gentle voice, not wanting to start an argument.
"I don't want to talk about it right now.. let's just go home, please." she said making him nod though he was worried about her inside.

MARK
They arrived and she went right into the bathroom. Mark was in the living room and layed down on the couch watching tv as he eventually took out his phone checking his twitter account. He looked at the trending hashtags when one of then caught his attention "#JiEunleaveMarkalone" he read to himself and tapped on it. He scrolled down reading some really mean tweets and comments. Just then Mark noticed that Ji Eun still hasn't returned from the bathroom.

It clicked in his head as he then ran up to the bathroom door. He tried to open the door but it was locked. He knocked several times but Ji Eun didn't mind answering him.

JI EUN
She was there sitting in the corner and read about it all on the internet as well. She saw some tweets and comments on her phone about them, about her. Ji Eun wasn't the person to take things lightly and not care about what other people said. She really couldn't deal with such things as that. Ji Eun would usually ty to get along with everybody even if she didn't really connected or liked them. Unfortunately, she used to cut herself in the past as it was her way to get her mind out of her struggles and issues. Even now, she just cut herself twice on her left wrist letting the blood drip down on her bathroom's floor. She never got along with those things, if she were to be honest. Even back when she used to live in the US where it all started.

"Yaah, Ji Eun-ah!! Gwaenchanha??!" Mark yelled from the other side of the door with his worry for her growing.
Ji Eun stood up and looked at her reflection on the mirror. She wiped her tears away and covered took a towel to clean her fresh cuts before covering them with her sleeves.
"Ji Eun-ah!! If you don-" Mark yelled when Ji Eun then opened the door.
"I'm okay, Mark.." she said looking down avoiding his eyes.
He only looked down at her when he then looked behind her, inside the bathroom, and noticed some blood and a razor blade on the floor. His eyes widen. Mark looked at her arms and saw dried blood on her left hand.
"Mark, don't worry.. I just have a stomachach-" she tried to convince him.
"Don't lie to me!!" he yelled at her in frustration and grabbed her left arm pulling down her sleeve. Ji Eun's eyes widen and were watering at his actions. She couldn't take it anymore and started crying in front of him.

"Ji Eun.." Mark said surprised and brought her into his arms. He hugged her tightly and caressing her hair.
"I-it's okay, just.. cry it all out." he said making her cry even more and louder. Her hands on his chest with her head close to his shoulder, she tried to hide her face from him.. They were in that position for some minutes till her eyes were dry and she couldn't cry any more.

He's shirt soaked all her tears in. She looked up at him.
"Ji Eun, whatever had happened to you at school today.. I'm rea-" he started with a calm and soothing voice.
"It's okay, you don't know.. So, it's not your fault" she said weakly.

Both were now sitting on the couch in silence.
"Ji Eun, can I ask you something?" he asked.
"Hmm?" she asked and looked at him as she was sitting with her hugging her lefts close to her.
"T-that wasn't your.. first time.. cutting yourself, was it?" he questioned sadly.
"Mark, I.. It wasn't.." she mumbled trying not to face him.
"Ji Eun.. it's my fault, right? It's because of me that you do that.." he said feeling guilty. Ji Eun looked up at him with wide eyes.
"No, it's not!! Maybe the first inciden-.. Nevermind. Uh..uh but this is just because of those tweets not because of you!!" she told him panicking for a moment. He was shocked at her words.
"What first incident?! Ji Eun?!" he asked worried.
"It's nothing Mark. How about we watch a movie and I make some popcorn for us? Let's just forget what happened, okay?" she said and got up from the couch trying to avoid their conversation.
"Just pick any movie you want to watch!" she said as if nothing had happened a while ago.

Ji Eun was preparing the popcorn and put it in the microwave and walked back to the living room where Mark was trying to pick out a movie to watch together after accepting Ji Eun's decision on changing the topic.
"Do you like horror, comedy or action?" Mark asked looking at her. He was sitting infront of the TV going through all the movies a website provided.
"Uhm, definitely not horror but I like the other two. Oh, I'll be right back" she said and went back to the kitchen.

After 2 minutes later, the popcorn was ready. She put the popcorn in a huge bowl and sat on the couch next to Mark who had chose something to watch.
"What movie did you choose?" she asked placing the bowl on her thighs.
"Uuh, just surprise yourself..." Mark said before the movie started and the name was on the screen soon after the beginning of the movie had started. It was a horror movie.

"M-mark!!! I told you that I don't like horror movies!!!" she yelled at him.
"Oh, really? Welp, I think I misunderstood.." he said apologizing but she saw him smirking making her hit his chest playfully.
Both watched the movie though she covered her face behind a pillow but peeked to watch it still when suddenly a small young girl, with a white dress and a teddy bear in her right hand was hanging by  her hand, appeared at the hallway right after a woman walked inside her room. She screamed as that girl's face suddenly appeared on the whole scream and sang a baby song and started screaming. Ji Eun screamed as well and started crying at her pillow to make sure Mark doesn't notice. He hadn't screamed at all nor did he get scared at all the jump scared the movie had and just watched it and said some comments such as "I knew it!", "I told you not to go there.", "How stupid of him!".

Some minutes later Mark noticed that she didn't scream as something scary happened. He looked at her and saw that she was already fast asleep. Mark turned off the TV and went to Ji Eun's room to get blankets. He covered her with it and layed down next to her. Ji Eun's couch wasn't that comfy but it was big enough for 2-3 people to sleep in.

He caressed the side of her arm while her back was facing him.
"Ji Eun.. I'm so sorry about today. Aah, just please don't hurt yourself be-because of me.. or in general" he sighed thinking she was asleep but in reality she could still hear him.
"I'm sorry, Mark. I-I just don't know how to deal with this.." she decided to tell him.
"J-Ji Eun you're still awake?" he asked in surprise whispering to her.
"Mark, I'm sorry that this is affecting your career and that JYP.." she started.
"That JYP doesn't allow us to date right now and that you and Jackson acted being together to make me jealous?" Mark said finishing her sentence while looking at her. She turned around to look at him with widen eyes.
"H-how? Why? How did you find out?!" she asked shocked.
"Jackson and Jinyoung told me the other day when we were on our way back from the amusement park." Mark said.
"A-aah..haha about that uhm.." she said and wanted to excuse herself. She was totally embarrassed.
"It's fine. I think it's kind of cute from you." Mark said.
"H-haha, yeah.. but what are we going to do because of the pictures that surfaced on the internet Mark?" she asked worried.
"Be my girlfriend." he casually answered.
"W-what?? I, we can't! Mark your contract doesn't allow that! JYP would never agree to that.. and your fans would never give us their blessings. They would hate us for dating each other. For you to be with me. I can't deal with those issues as you already witnessed today!!" she said not noticing her voice raising as she sat up and looked at him in seriousness. Mark sat up as well and looked back into her eyes.
"Ji Eun, don't worry about all those things. Leave it to me. I will protect you! No matter what happens. I'll explain JYP hyung about this situation after all he probably knows about the news already. We'll go visit him tomorrow and I'll talk to him about it, if he won't reach out to me or the other's sooner. So, please.. Park Ji Eun, will you be my girlfriend?" Mark asked caressing her face as he proposed to her.
