Being Jinyoung's Sister [S2]

-1 month later-
Ji Eun applied for a job. She wanted to earn some money during the summer holidays and not work at the café only. For now she's working as a staff for JYP Entertainment since Youngjae told her that JYP needed new staffs. She took that offer, before she know what kind of responsibilities she had there.

Jinyoung was visiting her once a week after filming for a drama. He tried his best being there for her, even though his schedule was in his way.
GOT7 was training for their comeback again, after their tour in america had ended. Jackson, Bambam and Mark dyed their hair again, which suited them very well. Jackson and Bambam became MC's for MCountdown and Jaebum was on the making of new songs. All in all everyone of them were quite busy.

That way nobody knew about Ji Eun's problems besides her parents she kept it a secret with. They were shocked as they heard the news that Ji Eun got into a car accident. She told them the truth about the things that were happening with her. After that she got a dog from them as a gift. Not jus any normal dog. It was a dog that will help her in the future. She named him 복숭아 (Peach) since he smelled like a peach the very first time she met him. She got frequent checkups every second week of a month with Dr. Choi ever since that accident.

Mark, well as he decided to start new with her and got to be really close friends again but not as close as Ji Eun was with Jaebum now. She liked to meet up with him at a café at night when there were not that many people around.

"Hey, are you still awake?" Mark asked through the phone.
"Yupp, just finished some paper work. Why?" she asked.
"Wanna meet? I'd like to go to the cinemas. Do you have time?" he asked as he was outside the company with his sweater and a mask on.
"Yeah. Why not. See you there in 10 minutes?" she said while finishing her work faster.
"Yeah, sounds good. See ya!" he said and headed off to the cinema to by the tickets and nachos before Ji Eun would show up.
"Bye!" Ji Eun said smiling on the phone and hung up.

-on her way-
She was wearing a plain oversized shirt with a quote on it that she tucked in her pair of black high waist jeans. She decided to just go out like that since it was still hot outside.

After some minutes of walking on the streets She entered the mall and went to the 3rd floor where Mark was already waiting for her with his the tickets and a bucket full with popcorn.
"Hey! Sorry that I'm late." Ji Eun apologized as she was walking up to him catching her breath since she was hurrying to get there.
"I thought we said 10 minutes. I've been waiting for almost 30 minutes now.." Mark muttered.
"I told you that I'm sorry! So, what movie are we going to watch?" she asked changing the topic to get it over with.
"Dunno.." he said.
"What do you mean, you don't know? You just bought tickets for some random movie or what?" she asked dumbfounded.
"Duuh. Now let's go." he said and they both went a head to watch it.

"Huh.. looks like it's not that full at all." she said. There were at least five people sitting there scattered around the room in front of them.
"Good for me. I don't need to wear my mask then." he said taking it off as both of them were sitting alone in the middle at the back of the area. He took his mask off and his sweater leaving him with a tank top and sweatpants.
Before the movie started she decided to already eat some of the popcorn.
"Yah! Don't eat too much. You'll regret it later." Mark warned.
"Mhmm. Whatever." she said as she stuffed so much popcorn in her mouth thinking that he only said that since she was eating so much he was worried to be left with nothing.

Minutes later the lights went off. The movie started. She watched closely until she found out that it was that horror movie that a lot of people had already seen days ago. She started to get nervous since she hated horror movies the most. Everytime she would watch them, she wouldn't be able to sleep for months. It just freaks her out. She decided to ask Mark if he did that on purpose but he didn't answer. She glared at him until he noticed and gave her his attention.

"What?" he whispered to her.
"Did you know that we're going to watch a horror movie?!" she asked keeping her voice down.
"..Maybe.. I don't know.." he said not looking at her at all.
"Yaah! I hate horror!" she complained hissing at him.
"Well.. sorry. I didn't know.." he smirked slightly. Ji Eun sighed heavily and looked back to the screen.
"Mark, if I won't be able to sleep for weeks it's all your fault." she warned mumbling.
"I'm fine with that." he whispered back making her gasp only.

Throughout the whole film she tried to avoid looking at it but even the sound effects were still scaring her. So, she decided to distract herself by stuffing popcorn in her mouth.
The film eventually ended. Mark looked at her seeing Jin Eun cuddled up on her seat with his sweater. He took his phone out and decided to take a picture of her since she looked so cute and innocent like that. He tried to wake Ji Eun but she seemed to be really tired and nobody was able to wake her up at that point. Mark sighed and took his sweater and carefully wrapping the sleeves around her neck to keep her warm. He put his mask back on and started piggybacking her all the way back to her apartment the he had done it before.

MARK
-on the way-
After a while Ji Ehn woke up after Mark jumped lightly to hold her tight making sure she wouldn't fall.
"You know.. I met this one person and that person's really nice.. I don't know.. I feel like, there is something about that person.." Mark said as he still walked and carried her on his back. Ji Eun remained silent.
"I, I really don't know what to do" he said thinking he was talking to himself.
"I-Is that person..a girl?" she quietly asked leaning her head on his right shoulder.
He stopped walking out of surprise and looked back at her then decided to resume.
"Yes." Mark answered. She didn't say anything.
"Well, if you like her.. maybe ask her out?" Ji Eun said assuming it could be her.
"Should I?" he asked "What if she rejects me?"
"How did you met her? ..Well, you won't know until you tried." Ji Eun said.
"I met her through the company. She's a trainee." Mark confessed breaking her heart a bit for some reason.
"But still, I can't that will only harm her career." he said.

To be honest after a couple of days as she flew back to korea she got her memory back. She remembered everything. Just every little thing that had happened in her past. But Mark started new with her. At first she wanted to argue with him but she couldn't. She thought that it was better like that and accepted Mark's decision. That way she could at least talk and look at him normally. Ji Eun didn't want to let him know or the others so she decided to play that role until everything normalizes. Hanging out with Mark wasn't easy at first as she now knew that he had cheated on her and she would have never thought of trusting him ever again. After meeting him often she kind of gained some of her past feelings she had for him but now..
forget everything you thought of.

Ji Eun wanted to say something but couldn't.
"What would you do in my position?" he asked wondering.
"Think about it for a while and if I really liked her..then.. I'd at least try it but please don't do it Mark. You'll just get as hurt as I was or am feeling as we started dating." she said.
"Maybe.." he said sighing.
"Mark, you can put me down now." Ji Eun said as she saw her apartment not that far away from them. He did as he was told and put her down.
"You don't want me to sleep over at yours?" he asked looking into her eyes.
"I'm sorry, maybe next time. Okay?" she asked feeling sorry and tried to hold eye contact as good as she could.
"Well, it's okay. See you then. Thanks for the movie night." he said scratching the back of his neck. Ji Eun hugged him once and waved goodbye walking home after she thanked him as well.

Maybe that's what should happen. Maybe he needs someone else, someone better than me. I should accept it. I need to let him go. If we'd be together again it will only hurt him and myself.
She opened the door of her apartment and walked inside. She made yourself comfortable and drifted off to sleep on her bed after getting herself ready for bed.
