brynns pov i wake up and nessa is still asleep, but i'm hungry so i quietly make my way out of bed, careful not to wake her up. when i get to the kitchen, i see lucy sleeping on the couch. ugh i forgot about her.
i grab some strawberries to bring up to my room but i drop the container, which wakes up lucy. fuck.
"good morning brynn! you're up early, you would usually sleep until 11 remember?" lucy laughs.
"i have a question," i say, ignoring what she said.
"okay, ask away," she says.
"why are you really here? do you have a goal?"
lucy looks stunned that i said that. "brynn, come on, you know me better than that! i just wanted to reconnect with you."
"well i think you should leave. you make me and nessa uncomfortable, and i'm sure the boys too," i tell her.
"aww, don't be like that," lucy stands up and walks over to me.
"my god, luce, you're being weird. i want you to leave my house."
"i don't get why you chose nessa, of all people. you had to be a fucked up friend to josh and go for his ex?" lucy asks with a smirk. i hate that she knows what can hurt me, and she's using it.
"don't you bring josh or ness into this. i'm asking you politely to leave my house, if you want to do this the hard way i can call the cops to escort you out," i snap.
"fine. i'll leave. you're not the same brynn i know from high school," she pouts and starts packing.
"no, i'm still the same person. i haven't changed, but my opinions on you have," i shrug and go back to my room to find an awake nessa.

"what?" i ask.
"miss lucy bitch," nessa scowls.
