"relax, joshua, i'm not going to burn you," i laugh. josh is letting me curl his hair on live.
"are you almost done?"
i look at him like he's the dumbest person ever. "i started one minute ago. how the fuck could i be almost done?"
he shrugs. "ion know. i love how half of the chat is in shock that we're hanging out," he says with a chuckle.
"what you guys don't realize is that josh is actually my platonic soulmate. he loves me too much to not be my best friend anymore," i smile. "and don't even try to deny it, you know its true."
he nods. "i know, i know. but yeah, this is the last time we're gonna address this. brynn and i are best friends. end of discussion."
i nod at the camera. "anywhore dang josh you look decent with curled hair!"
"decent?!? that's all i get?" he gasps.
"oh hush, you're lucky i even gave you a compliment in the first place," i say. then, jaden walks in. "hi jay!" i smile and he gives me a quick hug.
"what are you doing to josh?" he laughs.

"oh fuck off," i chuckle.
"ha good luck with that. i came in here to tell you that brynn is wanted in the kitchen," jaden says, and i know exactly who's here.
"oh okay. jaden, continue curling his hair i'll be right back," i hand jaden the curler and dash upstairs, laughing a little knowing that jaden will have no idea what to do.
"brynn!" nessa comes up to give me a hug.
"hi ness!" i smile and plant a soft kiss on her check. "why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
"because i have a surprise for you," she says.
"oh?" i question.
she hands me a gift box. "open the box."
i nervously take off the wrapping paper to find a note. i unfold it and it says:

the whole time i'm reading the note, i have the biggest smile on my face. it ends there so i look at up at nessa. "brynn, will you officially be my girlfriend?" she asks nervously.
"oh my god, of course i would love to be your girlfriend nessa," i smile and she squeals of excitement. "that was the sweetest note i've ever read, you're literally the best."
"no you," she argues.
"i could go on all day about how you are," i insist.
"hmm tempting. instead i vote we go in the pool," she smiles.
