Lisa and Jisoo walked out of Mr Yang's office slumped.

Both are not talking but Jisoo's just following Lisa.

She kept on glancing at Lisa's face.

This is the her first time seeing her like this.

Face lacking emotions but her eyes are on fire. She is indeed mad.

People around them swoon at the sight of Lisa but nobody dared to approach or tail her.

When the two reached the university gym, they saw Rosé alone spiking the ball on the wall.

"Babe" Jisoo called her and hug her tight.

"Hey guys! What happened? What did he tell you??"

"He said-"

Jisoo's about to explain but Lisa interrupted he.

"Hey Rosé, can I try that?"

Rosé gave her the ball and she tried hitting it but it bounced too far from her.

"L, try hitting it from the top of the ball then bounce it to the floor towards the wall."

"Like smashing a shuttlecock?"

"Exactly"

Lisa tried doing it just like how Rosé told her.

The ball bounced exactly in front of her.

She hit the ball again. But this time with 30% more power.

When Lisa is distracted hitting the ball, Jisoo pulled Rosé for a hug.

"The whole team is cut." She whispered.

"What?!!" Rosé exclaimed but Jisoo told her to be quiet.

"We're the only one who are eligible. We can't even have a try out because even if we find some other players, the association blacklisted us cause the men's team is in jail right now."

"Oh my god!"

The two looked at Lisa.

She's hitting the ball with so much power now that she moved far back just to hit the ball.

They noticed that the volleyball team and their coach are now watching with them.

The ball bounced back to Lisa so fast but she just hit it back with much more force.

It came back so high and so fast but Lisa jumped when the ball approached her and hit it from the top of the ball with much more force just like what Rosé told her.

Lisa caught the ball in mid air when it bounces back. She's panting and sweating now.

Jisoo and Rosé are now stunned at what they saw.

Lisa handed the ball to Rosé.

"I'm just gonna shower quickly. Wait for me at the bleachers."

When Rosé looked at the ball, she noticed that the ball is kind of deflated.

"What the fuck?? How can she do that??"

"Maybe badminton and volleyball have the same basics? I mean, we all know how good she is with a racket."

Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo are now sitting at the bench while Rosé's teammates are warming up.

"So what are we gonna do now?" Jisoo asked.

Lisa just shrugged. But Rosé and Jisoo just stare at her until she speaks.

"I don't know. I don't even know who I am without it."

"You are much more than that, L." Rosé assured her.

"No, really. I'm already thinking of transferring school just because of that news."

The couple are shocked.

"You do know that you still can't play even if you transfer school now. You still have to do your residency for a year."

"What?? You have to that here?"

"Yes!"

The three of them fell into silence. They don't even know how to comfort Lisa.

"Ms Manoban"

They all looked up. Coach Wang are looking at Lisa.

"Coach. I'm sorry for bothering Rosé. We're gonna go now."

"Wait. I saw you hitting the ball a while ago. Can you do it again?"

They all look at Coach Wang if he's serious.

"I don't know?"

"Can you just please try?"

Lisa looked at Rosé and she nodded.

They all stood up and follow Coach Wang near the net.

"Okay remember how you hit the ball earlier?"

"From the top of it like smashing?"

"That's right. But we're gonna do it this time with a net. Rosé show her how to."

"Here's what we gonna do. Follow Rosé's movement, okay?"

Rosé threw the ball upwards to Nayeon then she threw it upwards near the net. Then Rose jump and hit the ball to the other side of the court.

"Saw how she approached the ball? Now you try."

Lisa stand at the left side of the court. She threw the ball to Nayeon just like what Rosé did.

Then, when Nayeon threw the ball upwards she jumped.

But the ball hit Lisa's head.

Lisa grimaced at the contact.

They all rushed to her.

"Are you okay?"

"yeah I am."

"Do you know how high you jumped?" Coach Wang spoke.

"huh?"

"Your shoulders are above the net L! That's why the ball hit your head!" Rosé chuckled.

"Can we try again?" Lisa asked. She don't know why she asked but there's something inside her that want to hit the ball again. She want to feel the same rush she felt when she smashed a shuttlecock.

"Of course! But this time, we're gonna do it in the middle."

Coach Wang told Lisa what to do and how to approach the ball.

Lisa let out a long breathe before throwing the ball to Nayeon.

When she saw the ball goes up, she approached it like how Coach Wang explained.

She jumped in front of the net and focused on the ball.

When the ball aligned on her palm, she hit it. Hard.

A loud sound can be heard around the court.

The ball bounced on the first line across the court.

"That...That felt good!" Lisa smiled.

The volleyball team's jaw dropped.

Jisoo is jumping.

Coach Wang is smilling.
