SIT THIS ONE OUT

Lisa arrived at the Olympic Stadium.

She decided to bring her car than go to school to ride the school bus with the team. Besides it'll be a hassle since her house is near the stadium.

She's wearing her Ramones muscle shirt, a blue jacket on top, tattered pants with her white AF1 sneakers. Sporting her outfit with a baseball cap and her wayferers. On her shoulder is a Leica camera. A gift from her dad.

And of course, people are looking at her. Admiring and salivating at what they are seeing.

She doesn't even look like a player in her outfit. Her sports equipment are with Jisoo since they just gave it out this morning.

She entered the stadium and was shocked at the amount of people inside the lobby.

She called Jisoo to know where they are then proceeded to walk inside to look for her teammates.

She saw them all standing and waving at her. Lisa laughed at the scene and jog where they are. She all gave them a hug.

"Ohhhhh! My teammate is so hot!!" Wendy exclaimed.

They all laughed. Lisa just shook her head while smiling.

Everybody's wearing their jersey already.

"Lisa, here. You can change later. They don't know what's coming in there face! Ha!" Coach Wang playfully threw a bag at Lisa.

Lisa sat next to Jisoo who's cuddling with Rosé.

"Bud! This is insane! I haven't play in an environment like this!" Jisoo told Lisa.

"Me too! I guess volleyball is really one of the most anticipated event, huh?"

"hey! Look, those guys are the defending champion." Rosé pointed out in court 3.

Jisoo and Lisa looked.

"Seoul national university?"

"No! The one wearing crimson. Korea University."

"Oh god! Kim is better this year!" Irene exclaimed

"Yes. She's way hotter this year too!" Seulgi chimed.

"Yes. And later? You'll play with only one eye cause I'm gonna gauge it out!" Irene retaliated.

Seulgi just swallowed the invicible lump on her throat.

"We are on the same group." Momo told Lisa.

"After their game, we're gonna go to our dug out and warm up. They have 1 hour to rest before our game. I'm just gonna see if it's ready. Scout their game" Coach Wang said before leaving.

"Yes coach!" The team answered.

"Two of them are part of the National training pool. Their open spiker and their libero." Rosé told us.

"Nice! first round and we're against them! It's gonna be fun, ain't it bud?"

They looked at Jisoo. They don't know if she's serious or being sarcastic.

"Are you nervous Lisa?" Nayeon asked.

"Lisa? Nervous? Ha!" Jisoo proudly exclaimed. It made Lisa shook her head.

"No. I'm excited actually. Is that bad?"

"no no. That's actually nice. I've seen you guys improve everyday. It's like you played for a long time."

"Nahhh. Way to boost our confidence Captain!" Lisa nudge Nayeon and smiled.

Then, a loud clapping and screaming made them look on court 3.

"Game's done." Rosé informed them.

"What?! That fast?!" Jisoo can't believe what she's seeing.

"That's KU for you."

They all stretched after they settled inside the dug out. Except for Lisa. She's still on her jeans.

"You have to sit on this game, Lisa." Coach informed her.

"Oh. Okay coach." Lisa was puzzled. She's not gonna play?

"I hope you understand. I promise that we can manage Seoul University. I'm bringing you out for Korea University. If I let you play this game, they're gonna scout you and we won't have the element of surprise. But you can come and assist me on the bench."

"Okay coach! No worries!" Lisa smiled at him. She understands.

They are really keeping this stunt up. Well, if that's gonna help us win the championship, why not?

"Girls, warm up!" Solji clapped her hands and stretched.

Jisoo walk near Lisa.

"You okay?"

"I just can't wait to play, buddy. But I understand." She smiled.

Jisoo is really happy seeing Lisa like this.

"Bud, have I told you that you look really happy lately? Haven't seen you like this even when you topped the charts last year."

"I feel good bud!"

"Nice nice! Now, every time we huddle, I want you to bring me a drink. Okay?" Jisoo teased Lisa on her way out to follow their teammates

"Okehhh! I'll buy soju after your warm up."

"Yah pabo!"

They fist bump before Jisoo left.

Lisa sat near Coach Wang. She gave him the iPad they use to strategize.

"Lisa, Do you know why I asked you to play for my team?"

"No coach."

"That day I saw you hitting the ball, I already envision you on my team."

"I was hitting the ball hard that day, coach. I was so frustrated."

"I know. Leaving the sports you love is hard. It is who you are."

"I actually had a sudden existential crisis, coach." Lisa and coach wang laughed.

But for Lisa, it is true.

"I'm so thankful you made me try coach. And for you to focus on Jisoo and I everyday. I'm really thankful."

"Make me proud today, Lisa."

"I'll do everything I can, coach. You gave me something to love again. And I'll do everything for us to win!"

Lisa tapped Coach wang's shoulders before leaving with her camera.

She took a picture of her team while they're warming up.

But she can't take one without them being wacky. Lisa just laughed at them.
