MATCH POINT!

Impromptu dinner

Lisa stands in front of the Yonsei University's bus where she says good bye to her teammates.

"See you tomorrow MVP!" Rosé hugged Lisa while teasing her.

"See you at 10 am tomorrow, Chong-ah!"

Rosé and Jisoo are the last one to board the bus. When they sat on their seat, the eagles waves Lisa goodbye thru the bus window. Jisoo made a silly face that earned her a slap on the arms from Rosé. Lisa laughed while waving her hands.

When she saw the bus exits the gate, she started walking to her car.

While walking, people are greeting her. Congratulations and good game can be heard. She just bowed slightly and gave them a smile. She pushed her key fob when she saw her car to unlock it. But something caught her eyes.

Jennie.

She standing beside a white BMW sedan talking to someone on her phone. Jennie saw Lisa approaching her. She waved her hand saying hi. Lisa just smiled at her. Jennie sat at the hood of her car.

"hey, what happened?" Lisa asked when the phone call ended.

"Oh. I ran out of gas. I'm just waiting for Road Side Assistance here." 

Lisa just nod and sat next to her.

"Oh. I figured I'll wait for the RSA with you here."

Jennie looked at Lisa with confusion.

Lisa stuttered with her words while shyly scratching her nape.

"I figured you'd like the company since you're alone here, you know."

Jennie just smiled at her and nod. They quietly sat on Jennie's car hood.

They just sat there quietly while watching people around the parking lot. Whenever they look at each other they instantly look away. 

When Lisa saw the tow truck, she stood up from the hood and talked to the RSA guys while Jennie's left there sitting remembering what her teammates are talking about in their dug out.

"She's not an assistant coach? Oh my gosh! She's hotter in her jersey!" Nancy screamed.

"I mean, whenever she raised her arms before service, her shirt goes up with her and I can see the bulge even on the service line!" Moonbyul chimed in.

while her teammates are talking about Lisa, Jennie's just hiding her face behind them. Images of what happened in the restroom flashed on her memory.

"Jennie?"

Her thoughts are interrupted with Lisa's face near her own.

"hey. You okay?"

"Uhm, Yeah. What is it?"

"Oh, they're ready to tow the car."

Jennie shuffled down the hood and get her belongings inside the car. She put it inside her gym bag. When the RSA guys gave her the details, they left with her car immediately.

"My car's there. Let's go."

"Uhm, thank you Lisa but I took a lot of your time already. I'll just hail a cab."

Jennie was about to leave when Lisa held her wrist gently. 

"I insist"

She brought her to her car's passenger side and open it for her. When Lisa put on her seat belt, Jennie suddenly became conscious of how near their face are. She immediately put her head down when she felt her cheeks became hot. Lisa closed the passenger's door and made her way to the driver side.

"ready?" Lisa asked Jennie when she settles in her seat.

"Thank you, Lisa." Jennie looked at Lisa's face while she focused on the road.

"Does she know how attractive she is?" Jennie thought.

Lisa felt someone's gaze at her.

"Yes? Do I have something on my face?" She asked Jennie.

Jennie was startled. She quickly face the road.

"Oh no. I just remembered what happened earlier. I mean me shaking your..."

Lisa laughed at how Jennie's difficulty to say what she's saying.

"Stop laughing" Jennie tried to hide her laugh but she failed. Miserably.

The two of them are just laughing when heard a ring. Lisa answered the call thru the remote on her steering wheel.

"I heard you won, Pri! I'm making gamjatang, kimchi fried rice and mango sticky rice now. Head to the resto, okay?"

"Hi papa. I'm actually with someone right now"

"Well bring them with you! I cooked a lot!"

Lisa smiled at her step dad's tone.

"Okay papa. I'll see you in a bit."

When the call ended, she turned her head to Jennie.

"Dinner?"

"date?" Jennie mumbled under her breathe.

"Well, if you want, we can call it that."

Jennie's eyes widen. She looked at Lisa.

"You heard me?"

"Why? Am I not supposed to hear that?"

Jennie shook her head no.

Lisa smiled at her. "man, she's really gorgeous!" She thought.

"So, dinner date?"
