GAME TIME

Coach Wang made Lisa warm up inside the dug out. He told her to go out after 10 minutes. She just nod her head.

Meanwhile on court 1, The Yonsei Eagles and The Korea University Tigers are on their official warm up.

"Yonsei University looks like they're finals ready, partner!" The sportscaster proclaimed.

"Yes! They even have two new player this season partner! But we only have seen Jisoo Kim on their first game. Is this Coach Wang's tactic? Having her new player sit out on their first game?"

Lisa entered the gym with her head low. She sat on their bench and fixed her shoe laces.

When the crowd saw her, the arena erupted in loud cheers and screams.

Lisa looked up to see why.

She saw some banners with her face in it.
She recognize some of them from Yonsei so she waved back and smile. While bowing her head as she thank them for cheering the whole team.

"Wait partner! Oh my gosh! Am I seeing this correctly?? The Lalisa Manoban is on the court wearing jersey number 3! Wow!"

"No partner! You're not seeing things! It is her! Is she Coach Wang's secret weapon?"

"No wonder the stadium erupted! For those who don't know the great Lisa Manoban, she's actually a sophomore badminton player from Thailand. She single handedly beat every opponent last year and rank first last season!"

"But sadly partner, Yonsei's badminton team is blacklisted this season due to some redacted information."

"Yeah. But seeing her here makes me excited partner! Is she as good as she plays badminton? Oh my god!"

"We'll see in a bit partner! Okay. They're tossing the coin now. Looks like the first service goes to the tigers!"

The team huddled. Arms around their shoulder while they make a circle.

Good thing Lisa has her camera on arms reach, she took a picture inside the huddle.

"Guys, let's do our best okay? Believe in each other! We can make it!" Nayeon motivates the team.

"Enjoy the game guys!" Wendy said.

"Lisa, say something!" Seulgi teased her.

Then the team looked at her expectedly.

"Oh. Uhm, I promise to do everything I can. Whatever happens, I love this team!" Lisa let out a really really bright smile.

The team cheered.

"Yonsei Eagles on three!"

"1, 2, 3! Yonsei Eagles!! Kajaaaa!!"

The crowd erupted in cheers again when they saw Lisa smilling!

Lisa, Nayeon and Rosé are now in the frontline. Wendy, Seulgi and Irene on the back.

Cheers and screaming subsided for a moment but erupted again when the referee blows the whistle.

"Okay! It's game time! Yonsei Eagles vs Korea Tigers!"

Lisa spreads her arms near the net. It's actually distracting because she really have long arms and fingers.

Number 14 serves.

Wendy received it beautifully.

Lisa saw Nayeon signalling 1. That means, combination play but Rosè's gonna hit it.

When Nayeon set it up, Lisa ran towards the net, winding up her hands as if she's gonna hit it. The blockers jumped to block her but the ball passed by her into Rosè who's waiting for it in the air already.

Bang!

"Cross court hit from Rosè Park! Wow!! Amazing combination play from the Eagles partner!"

"That hit was amazing partner! But did you see how high Lisa's jump was?! Her elbows are above the net partner!"

"Her height is her advantage partner and I think badminton really help her reach that air time partner!"

Rosè's about to serve when the Tiger's libero get inside the court.

Lisa looked at Jennie Kim wearing jersey number 1.

Waiting for Jennie to look at her in the eyes but she's too focused with the ball.

"Nice floater serve by Rosè Park! Beautiful receive by Jennie Kim! Wow! I thought she's already strong last season partner but she's much more stronger this season!"

"She won't be part of the national training pool for nothing partner!"

"Nice down the line attack from Nancy! Another national athlete!"

Wendy received it but Nayeon had to adjust. Lisa didn't see the signal but she saw where Nayeon tossed it.

Lisa jumps. When the ball reached it's highest peak, she hit it with 60% of her strength downwards.

She saw it goes in front of Jennie Kim but the ball just bounced so hard on the floor.

*prrrrt*

Lisa scored!

"Oh my gosh!! What is that partner?!"

"Lisa hit the ball with so much height and power partner! That was a heavy hit that's why it just bounced hard in front of Jennie Kim!"

Lisa saw Jennie looked at her but Jennie immediately looked away.

But Lisa caught her turned red.
