The Beginning

Might not be an originl beginnig, but its the start of every good fairy tale. Picture of Prince Jarrod on the side and a picture of Princess Rikki in the next chapter.

Once upon a time, in a far away land I am a great princess. My name is Princess Rikki Lynne or just Princess Rikki . I am 17 years old. I am known for being the best thing that has ever happened to my kingdom, well since my parents died, and then the second best thing. So, I am also called Princess the Great (doesn't really fit does it. Nah, i didn't think so). My story begins all the ways from the beginnig.I was born on May 2nd, into a royal family and as I am told my parents were great rulers as some people say I will be too. I am the youngest and of course I have an older brother called Prince Dustin or Prince Lazy, no I am just joking. He is a great big brother and he, I think will be the next King of this kingdom. He has raised me since I was little, because my aunt and uncle don't care, all they wanted was to be King and Queen of Zuzanna. Zuzanna I think is the most beautiful name and one day I will name my child this, maybe; it means rose and of course the kingdom is full of roses.

"Princess, you have to get ready, now," said my maid.

"Yes, I know, I will be down in a minute. "Tell my aunt and uncle that, understood Pauline,"  I said. She nodded.

Continuing, my aunt and uncle are all snobby and only care about the money, but soon enough my brother or I will take the throne. I have wished all my life to see my parents just once in real life, but I have only seen them in pictures. Dustin says that they were great; lucky for him he has seen them. We are 5 years apart, so he knew them. They died when I was just 6 months old! They both died in a dragon accident in the castle. They wanted to protect me and my brother, and they sacrificed their lifes for us. The kingdom as I was told went into a great depression, until they realized that me or my brother would become a great ruler. 

Now on with the present, I am getting ready for a royal ball. My uncle is hosting or does host most of the important events, because he gets paid for it (all for the money, I told you). Zuzannians hate my aunt and uncle, so does Dustin and I, we have to dress up for this stuff and they are not fun either.

An Hour later, I am down with a silky dress on, and we have the announcements of who is coming in, and Dustin and I come out together. "I am proud to announce that Princess Rikki and Prince Dustin of Zuzanna have arrived," said the royal announcer.

We both said thank you, after we go down we part our ways and he goes by the girls (typical Dustin) and I go find my friends.

It is hard to find good friends that like you for who you are when you are a princess. My friends are Sammi, Taylor, Chase, Hailey, Dominique, and Brandon. It was easy to find them because well Dominique has to be the tallest guy in the kingdom. Don't worry he is not scary at all. I finally reached them, because everybody was stopping me to say hello and just to touch. Thank God there was other royals at the party and stop a few. 

"Heyyy, you look so good tonight," Chase said with a big smile.

I bet she said it because my dress was purple (her favorite color) and probably wanted to borrow it later, but I took it and said, "Thanks."

"No problem." 

Sammi was about to say something, but she got interrupted by the royal announcer, and when he blows that horn everybody pays attention,"I am gladly to announce Prince Jarrod from Kingdom Zanna," (Zanna means Lily, and lillies are my favorite flower, so I wish I could live there). All you heard was gasps from the croud. What surprised me the most was that Hailey gasped, and she doesn't do that often.

I turned and looked to see what everybody was looking at and what I saw was totally different then what they saw. They saw a Prince that never showed up to these kind of parties, but what I saw was the man of my dreams walking towards me. "Hello Princess Rikki," he said bending down on his knee and kissed my hand.

NO. I didn't faint I am not that kind of girl, but I did stumble on my words a little bit, "He-el-llo." I felt myself blushing, so I said," Umm, can you excuse me I have to go and check on something."

"Yes, my lady." I walked off and felt myself get even redder and Sammi, Taylor, and Chase followed me, and I hoped that they didn't follow me with the there is something wrong kind of walk.
