Where is He?

A day later, I am up and running, but we (Dustin and I) decided not to announce that my aunt and uncle released the dragon in the castle 17 years ago.

My friends met me outside the girl’s garden. We decided to tell the boys, and when we got in Brandon was not in shock, but Dominique started freaking out, “O.M.G, WHY DIDN’T YOU SHOW ME THIS BEFORE?!?!?!?!”

“Take a good look at it, because you will forget it later, the location. This is for the girls,” I said. Dominique looked sad.

I told them about my blackout and what the doctor said and most important, the Prince.

Chase hugged me after I was finished and said, “Sorry, about the castle scene, but moving on what are you going to do about the Prince?”

“He has a name, and it is Jarrod.”

“He leaves tomorrow at noon,” Sammi said.

“Of course you would know that,” Taylor said jokingly. Sammi blushed.

“I am so sorry Sammi, I know you have liked him since you went to that kingdom five years ago, but I… I…”

“Still or has always loved or liked him,” they all say together and happily.

“I guess. I mean yes.” They all screamed in excitement.

“We have to go find him right now, like this minute,” Chase said.

By this time the boys have returned to the center of the garden and asked, “What is all the screaming about?”

“It is time to go,” all the girls said.

“Awwwww,” Dom pouted.

“I will be nice today and not erase your memory, but y’all cannot come in here without me, unless you want to get stabbed by my brother,” they nodded (they are terrified of him) “Well then, y’all may go home and the girls and I have some unfinished business to attend to,” I said smiling.

The girls and I ran out of the garden, and we split up to find Prince Jarrod. We agreed to meet up in my room in 10 minutes.

Ten minutes later, we all meet up in my room and none of us have seen him. “Where can he be?” I asked

“I don’t know,” Taylor answered.

“Obviously,” I said, but there was no laughing (we usually laugh when I say this). Dustin was walking past my door, and I ran to him, “Do you know where your best friend, Jarrod is?”

He laughed at my joke sarcastically, “No, why would I? Remember I don’t like him anymore?”

“Fine, Pauline do you know where he is?”

“No ma’am, I haven’t seen him since this morning, sorry Princess. I did see him go out back.”

“Thank you,” and what Pauline said, I knew exactly where he was, and I started hauling my butt to the lake.

“Where are we going?” Chase screamed after me, running out of breathe.

“You remember my blackout of my parents, and when Dustin and I were really young at the lake?”

“Yes,” they all said.

“That is the lake we are running to. He is there!”

“How do you know? How do you remember to get there?” Sammi asked.

“My parents took me, my brother, him, and his parents, but I do not know. I am just following my gut!”

“Oh lordy,” Hailey said.

We took a left and there it was, the lake. It was beautiful, but not as gorgeous as our garden, but close to it. All of us went to the lake and got some water to cool off.

“Princess, what are you doing here?”

I jumped in shock and almost fell in, but Taylor caught me. I turned around and saw my prince, “Umm… to find you.”

Sammi was so red, it was unbelievable, “We, I mean she has something to say. I am sorry.” She was about to cry. She walked off to the side and Hailey, Chase, and Taylor followed.

“Ok, I am guessing she likes me, but the real question is do you?” he asked.

“Dang he is good at guessing,” I thought. “Umm… Jarrod I don’t like you,” I said, and he was smiling but frowned when I said it. I laughed.

"What? It’s not funny. I snuck out just to come…”

I got tired of his jibber jabber, so I kissed him. I broke off; he looked surprised, and I laughed again, “You didn’t let me finish, smart one.”

“Oh sorry, you may finish now.”

I kissed him again, “I do not like you. I love you, I always have,” I blushed.

But he didn’t have enough time to say anything or kiss me, because the girls snuck up and pushed us in the lake and jumped in after.

“Finally,” Chase said.

I looked around to see everybody, but Sammi was missing, “Where is Sammi Lou?”

“She had to go, she felt sick and she has to go babysit her little sister,” Hailey answered.

“Dang, I got to go find her and apologize.”

“Trust me, it isn’t your fault,” Taylor said.

Before I could say, ‘Yes it is.’ I got pulled under the water. I opened my eys and saw Jarrod. I smiled and went back up. He followed.

“I love you,” he said. And all the girls awed, when we kissed.
