[A/N]: this one is quite a mix of the ships yay.
seventh chapter
“THAT’S A FOUL!” LOUIS CRIED out, playfully shoving Niall out the way which the brunette stumbled back with a yelp mixed in with his infamous laughs.
“You have lost!” Liam crowed in victory; much unsophisticated of him, really. The king disapproved of this kind of behavior, but the king was absent, having to run off to do his king-ly deeds and errands with his guards. Liam spread his legs along with Niall behind him doing the same. Louis shot a look towards his black-haired mate before getting on all fours and crawling under those spread legs by the two men.
They had been playing for the whole afternoon now. After having their stomachs rested, Louis went around the castle finding the three other lads at their posts. He’d invited Harry already but the lad rejected, saying that he needed to finish his work. Louis felt quite pouty for a second before the rest of the lads joined him.
“Okay,” Liam laughed, “If the king finds out about it, we would be in complete trouble, and Louis, your classes with Zayn starts now.”
“I am not in the mood for playing with swords.” Zayn spoke, glancing at Niall. “I am quite idle today.”
Louis raised his hands up, “I second that. Just one more round, Liam, please? If you and Niall win then Zayn and I could be serious with those swords. I swear.”
Liam huffed, rolling his eyes at the prince, “You are unbearable, Tomlinson.”
Harry took his time to rest, which involved walking around the castle to strengthen even his leg muscles so he wouldn’t look like something which was half-cooked, with the arms all huge and muscle but the legs all lanky and awkwardly, abnormally long. It was nice having to escape from the smoke and he had changed into a much cleaner shirt rather than the one dirtied up with coal. He was careful this time; because any royalty (but mostly the prince) could pop up at the wrong moment with him looking like a beggar on the streets.
“Harry!” A little girl, Caroline, skipped beside the giant swordsmith to match his pace. Harry smiled and folded one knee to meet her small height. Caroline was one of the servant’s, Julius’ and Renee, daughter. When Harry, himself, was at the same age of four, he’d thought that the castle was also accepting children as servants, but yes, he was wrong.
“Hello there.” Harry smiled, reaching gently to push her ponytail back from her shoulders, “Are you alone?”
“Play?” She pouted at him, pointing at the little kids gathered by the small corner of the kingdom to avoid getting in the other’s way.
“Uh..” Harry hesitated, but he had nothing else to do anyway, “Of course, love.” He was suddenly tugged to the direction of the little children running around, tagging at each other the it quite harshly but still managed to cackle out a laugh.
They stopped however, smiles dropping to neutral, awkward stares as they all looked up to Harry who smiled brightly as he waved, bending down, “Hello.”
“I know you!” A little boy with blonde, curly hair stepped up, offering Harry a toothed smile, “You’re Prince Louis’ best friend!”
“Oh um … “ Harry chuckled in bewilderment, “I uh.. I guess I could be? But yes, I know the prince.”
“Do you also know Prince Daisy?!” He suddenly shrieked.
