Megumi's past

~Megumi's pov~

One stormy my night, a basket was left infront of an orphanage.

Soon the door opened revealing an old woman. She looked inside the basket revealing a baby and yes the baby was me. She looked around no one was there, she waited for a bit, but no one came. She had no choice but to take care of me.

5 years past, I grew up and became a very cheerful girl. I loved my life in the orphanage. It was very fun, I have many friends!

While we were playing, I noticed a small little white flower. I picked it up and ran to the old woman. She was sitting on a chair watching us happily. Resently, she hasn't been able to stand up. I went to her and hold out the little white flower.

Megumi: Granny!!! I found a flower! Here.

I put the flower on her hand.

Old woman: Thank you... your a nice girl, you should continue to be always happy and help other people.

She pat me to the head and I nodded happily.

A year later...

Old woman: *caugh caugh* I-I'm so.... Sorry....

The old woman was on the bed. She had a desease. All of us cry as we see her.

Old woman: I-Im.... s-so... sorry.... I c-cant.... take... c-care of you... a-all... *caugh caugh*

Children: *sob sob*

She was about to die. The only word I can think about was, Please dont die... She was breathing heavily.

Old woman: I'm... sorry...

She gentle close her eyes. Untill...

Old woman: ...

Megumi: G-Granny...?

Tears begin to drip down my cheeks and so are the other children.

Child 1: No!!

Child 2: Don't leave us!!!

All of us cried, but there was no responce. Ever since that day this orphanage was abandoned. Many of us were starving to death, waiting for someone to help us.

Then, one night, there were five men. The five nen said they will help us. They took us all to a big biulding. When we were there, they offered us food, but I had a feeling something was not right. Because I had a feeling that the food they were giving us have an unknown drug. I didn't eat it, but then the other kids were eating it happily.

The next day, when I woke up. All of them were laying on the ground, at first I thought they were sleeping, but, the food they gave acsually contained a herb that can make you paralyzed I have no idea why I know what it contained.

I was so scared, that this was even more scarier than being left at the orphanage. I shake in fear. Then the door opened, revealing a middle-aged man. The man looked at me shocked.

Middle-aged man: Why aren't ya' paralyzed?!

He suddenly called for his men.

Middle-age man: Take this kid and put her to the lab.

My body trembled and I begin to cry.

Megumi: No... NOOO!!!!

They grabed me by The arm. I struggled trying to get out. But it was no use... they were too strong, my body was very weak. they chained my arms and legs. No matter how much I try to escape the chains were just too tough. Then they came back with a drug. I cried saying, No... someone help me!! HELP MEEE!!! I cry and I cry and cry then suddenly, the ground begins to shake.

Middle-aged man: What the...?

And then, I screamed. Everything was smashed to pieces, but that wasn't the end of it. A black hole appeared sucking everything.

Man 1: Aahhhhhhh!!! Help me!!!

One by one the people who tried to hurt me were sucked inside the black hole. The middle-aged man looked at me.

Middle-aged man: A monster?!

I wasn't very pleased about what he said. And the black hole became bigger!!!

Middle-aged man: Waaaaaaaah!!!

All of they were sucked in. When I was calming a bit, I looked around me the building was wrecked to pieces. I looked at my hands the were shaking.

Megumi: ... What...did I....d-do...?

My voice trembled. Then I heard someone clap their hands.

???: Wow, so this is how a mage fight?

Megumi: huh?... w-who are y-you...?

???: Who? Me? *chuccle* I am an unknown man.

He smiled, then disappeared into mid air...

Megumi: Huh? W-Where did he go?

I looked around me, but instead I saw a doll.

Megumi: Wha...?

The doll glowed and flowted to my head.

Megumi: Eh?

Doll: Hello Princess Megumi.

Megumi: What...? (The doll talked...? And how did she know my name?)

Kamiko: I am Kamiko, I fell from heaven. And I am here to help you.

As Kamiko said that I heard a voice behind me.

???: What are you doing here all alone?

I turned around and I saw 3 people, there was a woman a man, and in the middle was a boy. The woman talked.

???: Are you alone?

I looked away. They looked at me pitifuly, the boy wisphered to his parents. I looked at they confused, then the woman and the man nodded to each other like they agreed. The man spoke,

???: Would you like it if we became your parents?

My eyes open wide. Then the boy also spoke.

???: Well, I wanted a sister.

He looked away the the woman spoke.

???: I would love to have a daugher!

I smiled happily

Megumi: Really?!

They nodded.

Megumi: Thank you!!!

I ran to them and they also smiled happily.

Megumi: My name is Megumi!!! And this is Kamiko!!

Aimi: My name is Aimi!

Sakuya: I'm Sakuya.

Shirou: .... Shirou...

Aimi: Welcome to the Sasaki family Megumi-chan!! From now on we will be your family!!

Megumi: thank you!!

I have a new family now, they are so nice, but the unknown man still bothers me...

They are the one who saved me....
