Yoongi felt a little sorry for waking Jimin up after the other had not even had two hours of sleep, but they had to move. V had called him and had said that he was on his way to Busan already, and every day less of waiting would reduce the risk of Jimin contacting the police force. Thus, in the last hour while Jimin had been sleeping Yoongi had prepared his Beretta M92 with a magazine and put it away in the shoulder holster he wore under his baggy sweatshirt, had checked them out, and had packed up again.

"Wear black," he instructed the sleepy man before walking over to the sitting area to wait. His only answer was a growl, but since Jimin was sitting Yoongi was not concerned.

Their ride to lawyer Shin Taeksoo's private place was silent and on the cop's side awkward. Yoongi did not know shame when it came to sex. It was never shameful to ask for what you need. And once he had understood that Jimin did not want to sleep with him because of fear for his life or to get closer but because he never had had or would have the opportunity again, he had been happy to cater to that need. Jimin might be a cop, but he was also a man with struggles that Yoongi had gone through as well. With more time he might be able to dissolve the issue with Jimin's shame, so that he could finally jump over his shadow and enjoy life, but right now it was time to kill, so he pushed the thought away and parked one block away from his target's home.

They walked the rest and came to wait in front of a restaurant a little down the alley, so that Yoongi could get into action the moment he spotted the unmistakable BMW M7 of lawyer Shin approaching. He had pulled out a pack of cigarettes and hat lit one up but was only letting it smoke away without a drag, occasionally disposing of the ashes in the ashtray the restaurant provided.

"You will stay here," he told Jimin.

The other hummed. He was still not looking at him, but even like this Yoongi could see the tenseness in his shoulders and jaw. It was a strange tension. Not anxious but rather aggressive. Like something was about to happen, Yoongi could feel it, but he could not stop now. Rule number one: always finish the job, or you become someone else's next job.

He pulled the burner phone from his pocket to text V that they had started the game and then took the black gloves from the back pocket of his jeans. Once Shin appeared, he would have to be quick.

One cigarette turned into two, five minutes turned into ten, and when Yoongi thought they would breach the fifteen, the BMW turned into the street and slowly rolled closer.

"See you in one," he bid his goodbye to Jimin. Once Shin had a bullet in his head, they would drive to the meeting spot and switch cars to drive to Daegu. He had asked Taehyung how he should go about the cop, and the tech had told him to bring him with them. Not to let him see the kill, but to bring him along, so they could explain things to him properly. For some reason his partner in crime was convinced that Jimin would trust them and go along with the plan, so Yoongi had stopped arguing and had decided to do as he had been told. Not his problem if Jimin turned out to be unwilling. V would have to pull the trigger then.

With quick steps he walked up the street while he watched the BMW turn into the gateway to the parking lot. He sped up a little and turned around the corner into the parking space. The car had just halted, engine turned off but lights still on. Shin was rummaging with something inside.

With a grab under his pullover, Yoongi pulled out the gun, unlocked the safety and cocked the hammer while he crossed the space with a few steps. Then he looked inside the car to check whether this was really his target, and when the shocked eyes of the lawyer noticed him, he pressed the muzzle against the glass and pulled the trigger. Blood splattered against the inside of the burst security-glass and Shin's head lolled to the side. A perfect hit. Yoongi could basically smell the money.
