'Sorry I didn't kiss you'
Mammon's lips curved into a smile, as his eyes softened at just the mere sight of your smile. You would glance at any store that would catch your attention for even just a moment, your eyes holding this shine to them. Before you would practically drag him with you towards the store, to which he had no complaints about internally that is, but he would never tell you that. Each time the two of you would go to another the store, and the air around you would feel different at least in Mammon's eyes. It was different from what he was used to but not out of place.
Yet the end of the night was soon to arrive, the firework show. In the cool crisp night, the air hitting against your skin, as you walked to the destination of the supposed 'best view in the house' by Mammon's words that is. The two of you followed the concreate trail, that lanterns outlined the trail, before soon finding your destination. It was on a small hill, where a bench sat, apparently it was a park, that not many people know about it due to the rather odd location, and how small it was. It was nearby the firework show, yet far enough to really take in the sight, Mammon glanced down at his watch, the two of you making idle conversation, before the first firework, went off. It was a huge firework, it was launched in the sky, before blowing up, in the center it was a deep blue, and in the outer sides of the explosion it was a gold that leaned more to the side of yellow.
You smiled at the mixture of colors, before tapping Mammon's shoulder, as he turned his head towards you. "Look see it's the same color as your eyes" you said to him with a smile, he disagreed with you, saying they didn't look similar in the slightest. You placed your hands on his cheeks, bringing him closer to you, as you continued to compare the two with one another. His cheeks flushed a deep red at how close the two of you were, before you soon did the same, becoming aware of your actions. Yet at that moment you wanted nothing more than to kiss him. You brought your lips closer to his as they hovered above his, awaiting his response towards your actions, before going any further. "Is this alright?" You asked him, your eyes locked with his, as he could feel himself begin to panic his heart beginning to race fearful you'd hear how rapid it was beating.
He pulled himself away from you.
He started blabbering on, beginning to talk a mile a minute, going on about an entirely different thing, he didn't even know what he was saying anymore, and as he glanced over at you, his eyes widened. You had this smile on your lips, he didn't know how to explain it it seemed force, only the ends of your lips were curved up, and your eyes although it was difficult to see in the dark as the next firework went off, he noticed that they were glossed over, he hurt you, he was shocked to say the least. You stood up from the bench, excusing yourself. Before you started making your way back to the trail, your back turned to him, all he saw was your back turned to him, he wanted to say something anything.
"(Y/n)"
He said your name aloud, reaching out for you, he wanted to explain himself, that he felt the same, that he loved you. He wanted to run over to you, to hold you in his arms, to finish what you had started, and yet he couldn't. You didn't even so much as hear him, due to the loud fireworks in the background, you didn't turn back you walked forward disappearing into the night, and all he could was watch as you left him behind, as he watch another firework go off, one of blue and gold.
'But it's obvious I wanted to'
In the end you walked back to the House of Lamentation, and as you opened the door to the house you were of course greeted by the other brothers with a few exceptions of course, yet they all noticed that something about you was off and that was it put softly. So as Asmodeus stood in front of you, arms stretched out, as he engulfed you in a hug. They all saw as tears pooled up in your eyes, slowly falling down your cheeks.
After that things between you two were never the same, their was this never ending feeling to the air when the two of you were so much as in the same room as one another. It wasn't necessarily tension, more along the lines of awkward if anything. To which you didn't contribute nor take away from.

Hello Lovelies! I hope you enjoyed todays update! This song has been running on loop in my head lately and I just got struck with this idea, part two will come out next week on Wednesday, since I finally made an updating schedule!
