I was in the kitchen preparing myself and Jenn's lunch when I heard her call my name from the other room. She sounded very panicked so I rushed through to the TV room.
"Avery! Come here! NOW" She screamed.
"What, what!" I entered the room, out of breath from sprinting. I looked at her and noticed she was pointing her finger towards the television with her right hand and her left hand covering her mouth. She looked completely shocked. I turned my gaze from her to the television. That's when I saw him.
His blonde hair was perfectly styled with his brown roots showing, his blue eyes sparkling at the camera. Him and his friend were on an interview show, and of course Jenn happened to stumble upon it.
"So, is there a girl you'll never forget?" The interviewer asked.
His friend pushed his curly brown hair from his eyes and nodded, in sync with each other. "During the summer, I met the most amazing girl ever. I have never been happier with any other girl before."
I was already in tears. Last summer was one I would never forget, and I couldn't believe he hasn't forgotten it either.
