I woke up the next morning, Niall holding me tight to his chest. We were facing each other, his arm wrapped tightly around my back. He attempted to open his eyes, he fought his heavy eyelids as he slowly woke himself up.

"Good morning, love." His voice was tired, and his irish accent was much deeper when he was tired.

"Morning." I smiled to him.

I've never fallen asleep in the same bed as boy before, and I've definitely never had a boy call me love. Especially one as cute as Niall.

He reached his hand out and grabbed some of my hair, playing with it. He intertwined the curls in my hair in between his fingers, changing his point of view from my hair in his hands, and my eyes. He dropped my hair and pushed it behind my ear. At that very same moment, Harry and Jenn walked in.

"Aw how sweet!" Jenn gushed. "I hope you two behaved last night." She winked at us.

"Don't worry, I know what Nialls like," Harry smiled at me.

I sat up in the bed, looking around for the clock. 2:14pm. We slept until the mid-afternoon. I've never done that before. I was so comfortable beside him though, I suppose I wasn't that surprised.

He got out from under the covers, walked over to where he had thrown his shirt last night. His muscles in his back moving with each step he took. He was honestly the most beautiful being I have seen.

He turned to me and smiled, "Want to go out for lunch? I'll buy, consider it your belated birthday present from me," I nodded, getting up out of the bed.

"I'm just going to run to my room and get ready alright? I'll be back in no time." He kissed my cheek and walked out. I could hear Jenn and Harry talking from her bedroom.

"Do you think he actually likes her?" She asked him.

"Of course, Niall wouldn't mess with a girl's heart. I'm really surprised he slept in the same bed as her honestly, he's such a modest and shy person usually."

I went to my suitcase and rummaged through my mess of clothes to find a cute dress. I pulled out a white summery dress. It was a simple white dress with thin straps. I put a thin, braided tan belt around myself, under my chest. I slipped on some white flip flops and walked over to the bathroom.

I wanted to shower, but Niall would be back soon. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and braided it. I took the braid a swirled it around the ponytail to give myself a braided topknot bun. I brushed my teeth and put on a small amount of mascara and cover up under my eyes to hide the fact I was still exhausted.

I opened the curtains in the main room, sat on the chair and just took in the skyline. It was beautiful the way the sun shined on the windows, and on some roofs. I felt on top of the world. Most of the buildings were smaller, and the garden at city hall was simply breathtaking. I wanted to live in a city like this forever.

I heard the door open and turned around. Niall returned and Jenn opened the door for him. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a plain white tshirt, He made such a plain outfit look so good.

"Ready?" His blue eyes looked right into my green eyes. It made me blush, I could feel my cheeks reddening.

"Yes, where are we going though?"

"It's a surprise." He smiled at me.

I walked towards himand he opened the door for me. He did a little bow with his hand on his stomach. I crossed my legs and did a little bow myself. He grabbed my hand and we were off to venture the city together.

He led me across the street to the gardens in front of city hall. We sat on a bench with bushes of flowers behind us. We talked to each other for a while, just getting to know each other, since we only met the other day and he's already spent the night in my bed with his arm wrapped around me. I kept looking at my feet, and I blushed a lot. I could tell he knew I was a little uncomfortable.

"What's wrong?" He put his hand on my chin and lifted my gaze towards his eyes.

"I..uh..well.. I've always been a bit shy.. and guys don't usually bring me out into beautiful gardens and want to talk to me." I blushed.

"I've always been a bit shy too, and I'm glad those boys never did this for you. Then I probably wouldn't be sitting here, on this bench with you." He smiled, his teeth were honestly so perfectly straight and white. How could someone be so perfect?

"Aweh, that was really cute you know." He leaned over and kissed my cheek. He took my hand into his again, and pulled me off the bench.

"Let's go eat, I'm starving!" I laughed at him. He always seems to be hungry.

We went to this small cafe just down the road. I got a chicken ceasar wrap with a small latte. Niall looked at me questionably.

"Is that really all you're getting?"

"Yes, I'm not that hungry."

Niall insisted that he pay for my order, but it just didn't feel right to make him pay. I gave in, and let him pay anyway. He ordered a large chicken sandwhich and a coffee.

We sat at a table outside and continued our conversation from the bench.

"So why is it you're so shy around boys?" He asked me, taking a sip of his coffee.

"Well, I had a really bad experience when I was in about grade four or five, I never really forgot it. It still makes me nervous to gain feelings for anyone." I told him. Was I really confessing this to him? This was such an embarrassing story.

"I want to hear this now, sounds interesting."

"It's really not that interesting. It was so embarrassing. I met this boy my first day of kindergarten, and I liked him for a few years. One day in grade five I think, he told me he liked me too, and asked me out. The next day, all the kids in our grade and a year younger were all at the baseball diamond. He brought me over to them and told me he would never like me.." I felt myself starting to cry. That was the first and only time I had ever been in love and he ruined it for me.

"Oh that's terrible.. I can't believe a boy would to that to such an innocent young girl, especially one that loved him." Niall looked distressed, I could tell he actually felt sympathetic for me.

"I had a hard time really trusting anyone who said they had feelings for me after that." I played with the lid on my latte a little bit, running my thumb over the mouth.

"I would never do anything to hurt you, ever." He smiled at me, I smiled back at him.

I really believed him.
