Hera lived about an hour away from me. Which made it feel like forever before I got to her house. Beau and I had no plan on how we were gonna get her back. And considering you should never mess with mafia families, we didn't know if we would get back out alive. But that was a risk worth to take.

As we parked outside her father's house, we looked around for tracks of where she could be hidden. Our guess was the basement.

We went in the back window, without touching the window so no alarm went off. Those idiots forgot to close their window. But that luckily came in handy for us.

As soon as we walked in the only thing we could hear was her sisters fighting. And shortly after some big heavy footsteps walking over to them.

"Shit. Her father is right there" Beau whispered to me. "If we sneak by when they turn their back, run straight to the basement" I said demandingly. After 5 minutes of waiting they finally left the room. Making us able to be a bit less careful.

As we approached the basement we realised she wasn't there. When we turned around to go back up we saw Hera's father. He was standing at the top of the staircase having a tight grip around Hera's wrist.

"Looking for this?" He said pointing at Hera like she was an item.

"Let her go" I snarled at him. "He had a gun pointed at us. Finger on the trigger. "Put down the gun!" Beau yelled at him. "No" he replied.

The next thing I heard was a big bang.

He had fired a gunshot at Beau.
