Luhan - Family

"I'm so happy you could join us for dinner, dear!" Luhan's mother smiled warmly at you.
"I'm sorry Luhan couldn't join us for Christmas, even!" his father apologised, handing you some food.
"Oh, it's fine. It's understandable because of his busy schedule and tours lately."
"Noona! Since Luhan isn't here, play with me!" Luxian, Luhan's little sister grinned.
You ruffled her hair. "Sure."

You ate the food and chatted comfortably, although you couldn't help but feel disappointed. Usually, he would join you every year, groaning when his mum showed you the baby photos. He would always kiss you under the mistletoe and someone would have to interrupt, turning the two of you into tomatoes.
A ping was heard and you turned around, to see that the golden star had fallen off the tree.
"Oh gosh, the December wind is very strong!" she laughed, scurrying over to fix it. You didn't question how suspicious she was, but instead ate your vegetables like the good daughter-in-law you were.
"I can't quite reach the star, do you mind helping me get it dear?" Luhan's mother asked you.
Although his father was tall, you didn't refuse and stood up, walking towards the tree.
As you plopped the star on the tree proudly, you noticed a card with the words 'pull me' on it. You never saw this when you decorated it with Luhan before he left so you turned around to the family at the table.
"Can I pull the thing on the tree?" You asked, but they were so deeply immersed in the conversation, you just shrugged and tugged at it.
Suddenly, the tree lurched forwards, your eyes widening only to notice that the star had fallen off, just brushing your skin. Looking up, you nearly screamed.
"Luhan!" you smiled widely.
He pulled the tree back up, picking a leaf out of his curls.
"Hey baobei! Did you miss me? You were so quiet at the table I just wanted to jump out and hug you!" he gabbled, hugging you tightly.
You could hear everyone laughing at the table and you knew it was all planned.
"You tricksters! You all lied to me!" you cried, pointing to the victims.
They laughed heartily, Luhan kissing the top of your head.
"Were you sad?"
You nodded. "I nearly cried..."
"I'm sorry. Well I'm here now!"
His mother came towards the two of you with a thick book, causing Luhan to groan loudly.
"Let's have a look at the baby album! Luhan was naked in this one here-"
"MUUUUUM!"
