*****KANKURO'S POV*****

We got to Konoha , the air still had a summer feel to it. It was warm with a hint of wind, the smell of midnight bonfire filled the night. I closed my eyes trying to escape with the feeling. Imagining a nice bonfire this late at night, cuddling next to a special lady. The breeze blew through my hair imagining it was someone running their delicate fingers through it. A hint of late homecooked meals entered my air waves. The thought of coming home to a hot meal every night had me drifting away , how simple yet so bliss the thought was. Coming home to someone, to share a smile to share happiness with one another.

I closed my eyes imagining such a simple life. I was lost in my day dream till a blast of house party music woke me up from my dream. *sigh* it was good while it lasted. I looked out the window, the club was packed! everyone from different villages were out tonight! Guys all dressed up in club attire and woman wearing all kinds of dresses. (none of them really caught my eye) Shikamaru drove to a get in line for valet parking. " What a drag look at the line." shikamaru complained. Up in front were three expensive luxury cars. In the front of the line was a gorgeous orange lambo. Behind the orange lambo were two black Ferraris . " wow look at those cars, I wonder whos driving them?" Shikamaru questioned, " Probably a bunch of show offs" Temari complained. " Says the one who begged her little brother to take his bmw tonight ." I laughed pointing out Temari's hypocrisy.

I chuckled continuing to look at the fancy cars out of my own curiosity and thats when I noticed her, The most beautiful, delicious woman I have ever laid my eyes on. She pushed her beautiful (h/c) hair behind her ear . What caught my attention was her sexy purple dress she was wearing that hugged her curves. The heels she wore sculptured her sexy legs. I was absolutely breath taken by her. I never felt paralyzed by such beauty in my life. My heart melted at the small glimpse I was able to see of her angelic faces, she hid her face by looking down at the ground . Why would a beautiful woman such as herself hide such a stunning face I wondered.

"KANKURO! KANKURO!!??? EARTH TO DUMMY BOY!!!!" Temari yelled snapping her fingers to my ear. I snapped out my trance to turn around and face an annoyed Temari

" HUH!? yea wasup T-Temari" I stuttered still thinking about the woman I just saw.

" Are you okay??? you're looking pretty red and warmed up?"- Gaara pointed out

" Ugh y-ye-yeaH I am fine ! just need to stretch my legs I am feeling a bit claustrophobic right now that's all." I blurted making a quick excuse

"Do you want me to make some room?" suggested Gaara trying to help out

" N-Noo I am fine , I'll be fine once we go inside."

Gaara and Temari looked at me with a bit of concern on their face. They never seen me fluster like this before.

I looked back out the window but I couldn't find her anymore, who was she? I never seen such a beautiful woman ever in my life .

A few minutes later and we were finally able to valet park the car. We stood outside waiting to link up with the Konoha shinobis. Temari was wrapped around Shika and Matsuri was clinging on to Gaara I FELT LIKE SUCH A THIRD WHEELER!!!

We all turned to see the one and only Naruto Uzumaki ! Next to him was his girlfriend Hinata Hyuga. " wasup naruto!" - I greeted giving the spikey blonde a fist bump. " Hello Hinata I bowed. " H-hello lord kankuro, lady temari and lord kazekage." the sweet girl politely greeted. "Hey guys ! long time no see! Temari happy birthday!" yelled sakura haruno with her boyfriend sasuke uchiha. followed by Ino and Sai, Tenten and Neji and the rest of the konoha guys with their dates. Grrreeeeeeat I am literally the only one without a date, someone put me out of my misery.

" OMG ITS THE KAZEKAGE!!!" " REALLY!!!??" " OMG HE IS SOOOO CUTE BUT WHO IS HE WITH!? " A bunch of fangirls screamed circling around us.( i envied gaara at times maybe temari was right maybe i am going to die alone. )
Security had to escort us inside the club so we didnt get tackled by Gaara's fangirls. " WOOOOOW gaara you're so cool!" Naruto yelled. " Hey Gaara whos this by the the way" Naruto asked pointing at Matsuri. " Oh my apologies, we were swarmed i didnt get to introduce my wonderful date for the night. Everyone this is my beautiful date Matsuri." gaara introduced. Everyone shared their welcomes to Matsuri. " Heeeeeyyy Kankuro wheres your hot date!?" naruto asked not able to read the room. " GEEZ Naruto you're really are an idiot." shika sighed rubbing his eyes. " WHAT I AM JUST ASKING!!! IS SHE RUNNING LATE OR SOMETHING !? I MEAN EVERYONE ELSE HAS A DATE EVEN BUSHY BROWS!" Naruto yelled still not understanding.

my soul literally left my body at this point. "I dont have a date , she stood me up." I explained. As we all sat down at our v.i.p section." Man kankuro i am sorry but hey, you dont have to feel ashamed, I mean you're a good looking guy dont let someone put you down." naruto pepped talked. I sighed at relief and smile. " I mean, I am sure you will find someone who likes you if bushy brow can bring a date and not you there has to be some kind of hope out there. " naruto smiled with his eyes closed. "NARUTO YOU IDIOT!!!!!" sakura punched naruto behind the head trying to get him to shut up.

Everyone was booed up and I just sat at the corner of the section watching everyone having a good time with their significant other. Cuddling up, dancing with each other, even seeing them take cheesy couple pics made me jealous.

" How are you doing tonight , are you having fun ?? " temari asked checking up on me. " Loads of fun." I sarcastically replied sipping on a beer. " Hey kankuro i am so sorry about Sari...I didn't know she was like that, to be able to say all that kind of stuff." Temari accidently releasing some info that she didn't share earlier back in the car. " What do you mean say all that kind of stuff Temari ??? Temari was holding back information about Sari from me. Temari took a big gulp of her champagne before telling me , " Sari didnt want to come because she found you weird kankuro." I sat their in silence. "Sari too huh ? go figure ..." I chugged my beer and started getting up. " Kankuro where are you going ?!" Temari cried out.

I didnt bother turning around and just continue to walk out the v.i.p section. " I am going to the bar and get me another beer." shaking my empty bottle of beer in my hand.

I was at the bar getting another beer. Feeling a sudden pair of eyes on me like if someone was starring at me the feeling was coming from the glass staircase . but the crowd blocked my view.
