" SOME men, what happened to ALL men being assholes y/n?" konan giggled trying to lighten up the situation quoting you back from what you said to her at the bar before the incident. Konan started elbowing you.
you smiled and snuggled inside the blazer. " I might have met a wonderful guy tonight who also happens to be knight in shining armor ." you blushed.
"The guy with the facepaint????" konan guessed
" You noticed?" you continue to smile and blush at the thought of kankuro's purple face paint.
" I noticed for like a whole 15 minutes watching the two of you flirt like a couple of high schoolers." Konan laughed
" Wait so you were there when I was talking to Kankuro I thought you were still in the restroom???" you started to get embarrassed
"so this gentle men's name is Kankuro? and yes after I came out the restroom I saw the two of you giggling and being extremely close, and as a good bestfriendthat I am, I just sat at one of the v.i.p booths that was across from the bar so I wouldnt interrupt your moment. I had a Full view of you flirting" konan teased
" OMG! KONAN PLEASE TELL ME YOU DIDNT SEE-"
" That you kissed him on the lips? yup saw all of that too." konan gave you a closed eye smile poking you on the forehead. " Sorry I interrupted the two of you when things were starting to get good but Pain texted me on what Sasori did and that we had to leave immediately so thats why i dragged you out without letting you say goodbye."
You were so embarressed you stayed silent hiding inside the blazer.
" Heeeey y/n no need to be embarrassed for liking someone. To be honest I never seen you that happy ever in my life. I NEVER seen you smile like that with anyone not with sasori, the gang or with me, i am happy for you. I wish I can see that smile more . " konan softly said.
you squeezed your bestfriend's hand happy to know you have her full support.
" I am guessing thats his blazer?" konan pointing at the blazer that kankuro left you with
"mmhhmm, He wrapped it up on me after saving me from my attacker. Not only did he saved me but he comfort me, He never left my side. He didnt use the incident to gain anything from me..... He was just there for me. Kankuro made me feel... free and safe. I know it sounds super corny but the time i had with him it felt like time just froze. I never wanted the moment to end with him. The way he felt when I hugged him I just felt warm. I dont know how to explain this feeling but I just feel warm in the chest when i am around him. Like butterflies in my stomach that are ready to burst out. Sounds silly huh?" you blushed looking at konan
" I dont think thats silly at all y/n. Sounds like you really like this Kankuro guy. You should feel that way with someone, not the way how Sasori makes you feel. I am grateful that Kankuro guy was there for you to save you. He sounds like a great guy." Konan smiled
" He's more than great.... Hes amazing." you corrected her hugging yourself with the blazer. " Its to bad that ill never see him again." sadness in your voice.
" I might be able to fix that problem" konan winked
" really?! how konan?!" you cried grabbing onto her shoulders
"I send him one of my paper butterflies 🦋 telling him " two weeks" I know it wasnt specific but we were in a hurry and I noticed how much you really like him so i hope he understands from that message to meet us back in the club in two weeks." konan explained
" Konan youre the bestest friend a girl can ask for!!!!!" you screamed of joy hugging her . Happy at the thought you might see kankuro again. " oh no konan but the club is so hard to get in what if he cant find a way in like tonight or something??" you cried in concern.
" your right y/n ....... dont worry I have a feeling he will find a way. Dont worry to much, and before you ask no, sasori or the guys will not accompany us. Pain already has a mission for Sasori and Deidara. Theyre going to deal with one of the kages thats a jinjuriki with the information the club owner gave us . Plus pain is going to want someone to collect the clubs weekly profits so I convince him to let you and I do it. And because of what sasori did to the club owner, he gave the club a week to find its new owner. Last thing that place needs is to lose money from us and the side gig we do with them. (drugs) so that gives your friend two weeks to find a way to get in and little y/n can go back to flirting like a little school girl again !" konan teased again
" i know you aint talking! you act like a total school girl around Pain ALL the time! So i guess i learned from the best." you made fun of konan . You two started laughing and talked for the rest of the night giggling and planning on a shopping trip for your next encounter with Kankuro.
