She Forget, I Regret

When I got home that day, I stared at the calling card Avegail left in my car. I also searched the web about this guy and saw that he was the street caster for Selene Modelling, one of the most famous modelling company in the country.

After a few days, I called him.

"Love, are you okay? Medyo tulala ka, kanina pa. Are you sick?" I looked at Ave's worried face. We were at the University's garden.

"Just nervous." I answered before laying down, my head on her legs.

"Ano ka ba naman, Zeus. Kaya mo yan! Audition lang 'yan! Ikaw pa ba? Kahit naglalakad ka nga lang, para kang nasa run way na eh!" She cheered while stroking my hair.

"Sayang nga lang, I can't come with you." She whispered, looking glum.

"It's okay, family first. Remember?" I said to lift her spirit up.

"Yup! Don't forget to update me, okay?" She answered and I nod in return.

"Hello? Love? Last day of enrollment na for 1st semester today, 'di ka ba mag eenroll?" Pambungad niya nang sagutin ko ang tawag.

I yawned and stretched before speaking.

"I'm up. I'll be enrolling later." I answered.

"Okay. Take care, daan ka dito after mo mag enroll, is that okay?" She asked, and I said yes before ending the call.

I yawned again, still feeling sleepy. I attended a workshop yesterday, and it ended up pretty late. It's tiring, but it's fun.

When I entered the University, a girl suddenly approached me, holding a pen and paper.

"Uhm... hello Zeus, pwede magpa autograph?" The girl asked with hopeful eyes.

I absent-mindedly held the pen and signed on her paper. I heard her giggle, before speaking.

"I watched the modelling event of the Leesies clothing line. You definitely caught a lot of attention!" She said enthusiastically.

My heart warmed by what she said. I knew that somehow, I would also have some fans, but I didn't expect it to be this early.

Isang linggo palang ang lumipas mula nung unang sabak ko sa runway. My first walk on an official runway event.

"Thank you." I answered before smiling and excusing myself.

2nd year, 2nd sem is definitely the most busiest time of the year.

I'm having trouble juggling my studies, my career and Ave. Especially now, that I am offered to walk for an international event that will be held at another country, Jaerisio.

When I broke the news to Ave, I thought that she'll be sad because I'll be gone for a week. But, boy, I was wrong.

She jumped to hug me while crying and congratulating me repeatedly. She keeps saying that I deserve it, and I shouldn't worry about her.

"I'll fly to Jaerisio the day before the event. Okay? Do your best, Love! I love you!" She said before hugging me again.

When Ave landed, I wasn't able to fetch her because of the last minute changes that happened.

When break time was announced, I immediately called her.

"Hey, Love. Sorry I couldn't pick you up. There's a lot of changes here." I said apologetically.
