She Forget, I Regret

"Love, can you believe it?! Ga-graduate na tayo next year!!" Iritable kong inangat ang tingin mula sa mga reviewers na binabasa ko.

"Yeah, and if you keep on being loud, I don't think that I'll be able to graduate next year." I accidentally glared at her which earned a punch from her new-found friend.

"How dare you glare at your girlfriend, asshole." Lennisa said, glaring at me.

"U-uy, Isa. Wag mong sapakin, di naman niya sinasadya." We simultaneously turned our head towards Ave.

"Psh. Masyado kang mabait kaya ka inaabuso ka nitong lalakeng to."

Nagpantig ang tenga ko sa narinig, I am about to open my mouth when Ave pulled her friend up and started pushing it toward the vacant table near ours.

I returned my attention to the papers in front of me, and was about to focus again nang bumalik si Ave.

"Sorry, love. Alam kong busy at naghahabol ka ng requirements ngayon. Pasensya ka na kay Isa, medyo highblood lang talaga ngayon yun. Hayaan mo, igaganti kita mam-"

"Yeah, leave me alone for a while. You're too noisy." I scratched my chin, starting to get pissed.

"S-sure. Papaalam na nga ako eh. Magpapasama muna ako kay Isa sa mall, bibili lang ako ng new strings for my guitar. Review ka lang diyan. Babalik nalang ako after two ho-"

"Oo na nga eh, 'di ka ba makaintindi?" I snapped and Ave looked shocked. Babawiin ko sana ang sinabi ko pero hahaba na naman ang usapan. Gahol na ako sa oras.

"S-sorry." She whispered before pulling Isa and walking away.

I felt bad, but I don't have the time to dwell on it.

We're already on the 2nd semester of our 3rd year. Thesis making is around the corner, academics are driving me insane.

Mas gusto ko pang nasa Runway kaysa dito sa eskwelahan.

But I promised my parents and Ave that I will graduate. It's like I am working hard to graduate for them, rather than for myself.

I groaned before reviewing for the special exams that I need to take.

I had a lot of photoshoots for the brands that I am endorsing, which is the reason why I am always absent. Luckily, Ave have a friend from my course, which unluckily, is Lennisa. She always asked for Lennisa's notes, and sometimes, kapag vacant niya nakiki sit-in siya sa klase namin, saka ibibigay sa'kin kapag nagkita kami.

Dumagdag pa sa stress ko ang mga naglalabasang basher ko at mga fake news tungkol sa akin. There was one time that my EyePen Page is bombarded by curse words for a week.

I was too stressed out that I lashed out on Ave who's trying to comfort me. I asked for forgiveness, and she said that she understood me because of what is happening.

I appreciate Ave's efforts and support. So on our anniversary, I made sure that my schedule is clear as day. From morning 'till night.

I owe this to her too.

"Looooooooove!! Happy anniversaryyyy!"

"Happy 7th year, Love." I smiled at her before engulfing her in a bear hug.

"What do you wanna do?" Tanong ko habang naglalunch kami.

Nandito lang kami sa bahay nila, because according to her, it's too risky for me to go out.

"I'll show you something later." She answered while giggling.

I rolled my eyes because of impatience.
