Tell me what you tryna' hide

And what you runnin' from inside?

'Cause I got a surprise!

We might not make it 'til the morning

So go on and tell me now...

It was for the empire, it was all for the empire. It was so she could have an army to come home with. But it was also for her. More specifically, it was also for the fun of it. It was fun to catch all of these brooding bloodsuckers off guard by storming in with a bear commander. It was fun to watch them all scramble like ants after their hill had just been crushed. It was fun to be feared like she was a wrathful god.

This must have been what her mother felt like all those years being queen, before her own hubris and how much she underestimated her enemies got her killed.

But it was also for Silus, possibly her only true friend in this world. The only person alive today who she had cared for deeply as something more than just a friend. And after she'd already lost one person who had meant the world to her...

General Nitram knew she was taking a risk before the club's doors were kicked down. Everyone who knew a single thing about intergalactic politics knew just how massive the price above her head had been set, and just how far many of these people, comrades included, would go to get paid such a handsome amount. That is, if they ever found out who she really was.

General Nitram also knew that not only was Silus in the province, but so was his sister and the army of droids she had command over. They were there for him of course, after he aided in 'General Nitram's' escape Silus, first son and second child of the Slavic Federation's leader, had been declared an enemy of the state at once. They were also there after who was supposed to be the most powerful Lunar alive, the one who would lead her empire into a glorious victory in the battlefield against the communist Terrans threatening them.

There was a chance the new commander, Dolores Ivanov, Silus's older sister, might not realize her true identity at first, but it was only a matter of time. That is, if her suspicions were correct.

But until then, general Nitram was a titan. Unstoppable. Fierce. Vicious. She was still high from the vibrating of her gunfire as she detected an unusual, yet  somehow distantly familiar presence in the realm no Terran could ever conquer.

Two of them.

Looking off to the right, Nitram did her best to lock onto her targets with sightless eyes, only named as such purely for aesthetics' sake. But her fifth sense had been replaced with the natural radar for other living creatures sown into the genes of all Lunars.

It was a man, and a much smaller woman posted at his side, holding onto him very tightly by the arm, she presumed.

"Who are you?"

"I'm your knight in shining armor, little girl."

Nitram gave a knowing grin from halfway across the dancefloor, for the moment, ignoring all the commotion of vampires shooting at her, going to tackle her to the ground only to land badly, having phased right through her. Her. Who was currently existing in another world, completely unaffected by the madness of this place.

All three of them were, which meant that some of her own people had taken it to come looking for her on this planet themselves, when the queen regent had already sent field agents of her own to do the job. Either that, or they were just illegal stowaways, undocumented.

But the moment faded as quickly as it had arrived. Soon, their presence melted back into the undulating storm of bullets and she wordlessly trained her fire towards the vampire who had bolted the fastest, hoping he hadn't been detected fast enough. Nitram couldn't tell if she'd gotten him or not, but it almost didn't matter. This was exactly what the plan was. Scare him into retreating to his hidden base underneath the club, where the rest of team Scourge had breached and would be waiting.
