BREAKING NEWS: HIGHSCHOOL STUDENT Y/N L/N COMMITTED SUICIDE EARLY THIS MORNING. POLICE SAY A SUICIDE NOTE WAS FOUND BY A BRIDGE OVER A RIVER, A BODY HAS NOT YET BEEN FOUND.

Nishinoya dropped his spoon in his cereal bowl. Y/n was dead...? He looked up from his cereal at his grandfather with tears in his eyes. "I asked him to wait for me..."

His grandfather rushed over and hugged him tightly, trying his best to comfort his grandson. "Yū, it's going to be ok. You're going to be alright. I'm sure there's more to the story than this. Those reporters just want a good story, no matter the cost."

Nishinoya nodded and then sighed, thinking about Y/n. There was no way in hell Y/n would do that! He let the tears fall down his face and frantically began wiping them as they fell, not wanting to look weak. His grandfather sat down at the table across from him and gave him a soft smile.

"It's ok if you want to stay home today, Yū, I understand." Nishinoya shook his head.

"I need to go to the police station first." His grandfather looked a little shocked, but nodded his head as Nishinoya ran to the police station.

When he got there it was hectic, but that was understandable, a lot of people loved Y/n. But also, they'd just lost Hinata, this was just the cherry on fucking top for most people.

He stepped into the building and in immediately saw Mr. Keiji. Everyone else called him Mr. L/n, but Nishinoya had always called him Mr. Keiji, and his wife to him was always Ms. Emiyo. He ran up to Y/n's father and stood in front of him.

"Is it true? Is he really gone...?" Keiji looked down at Nishinoya and nodded his head stiffly. He didn't seem too upset though...

"Where's Ms. Emiyo?" Nishinoya asked, looking around.

"She's at home, she's too upset." Nishinoya nodded. He understood perfectly how she was feeling. But he also knew Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were the ones to blame for Y/n's death and he wasn't gonna let it slide.

"Listen, I know you don't want to hear this right now, but I need to speak to the police. Because I don't think Y/n did this over Hinata I think it was something, someone else." He looked up at Keiji to see him smiling softly.

"Always were the guardian angel, huh, Noya?" Nishinoya almost cried again, but nodded. Keiji looked around a bit and then handed Nishinoya a note. It was the suicide note.

He looked it over and his eyes widened as he refrained from looking at Keiji again. "So he's ok, then? And I'm assuming those two have you guys hostage somehow?" Nishinoya didn't move his head, he knew better than anyone how cunning Tsukishima was, and he wasn't taking the chance of Tsukishima watching him somehow.
