Kane was not sure what he should feel now that Yanarym was already in front of him, not a poster on the wall or a picture frame at his desk.

Yet, the jealousy brewed within him for Alvan didn't vanish. He no longer cares about her status or her profession, those trivial things don't concern him anymore. If she wants to stay at acting, he would support her wholeheartedly, he will provide her with his wealth and dedicate himself to her as long as he would be her dearest person.

"Kane, you know I have no intention of dating anyone -"

"You like me, right? You still do, right?" He interrupted what she was saying as she blinked and nodded softly as she took a deep breath.

"Then, let's be together. Be mine and I'm yours. How about it?"

"Kane ..."

"Who is yours? My woman? I guess you are stepping in a land mine right now." As he watched this, Alvan muttered furiously. He rushed over to Yanarym's side and aggressively yanked her away from the man Alvan didn't recognize. "Yanarym is already mine."

"Who was that?" Alvan immediately asked upon arriving at his suite. He was facing Yanarym now and holding her wrist tightly. Yanarym's eyebrow met as her arms began to feel numb.

"He's my friend." She softly responded to him and attempted to pull her hand away from him, but he wouldn't let go. "Alvan, you're hurting me." Alvan, on the other hand, appeared to be deaf. He hauled her closer to him and slammed her against his chest. He tightened his grip on her jaw and forced her to look up at him. His expression had a tinge of darkness to it.

"You don't fuck with me Yanarym! The way he looked at you is not what friends do! What about when he asked you to become his woman?!"

"ALVAN! YOU'RE NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" She shouted at him, he was astounded by her statement, which caused him to let go of her hand. Yanarym took advantage of Alvan's stupor and quickly ran away from his room.

She saw Kane in the hallway, probably waiting for her. "Let's go." He extended his hand without waiting for Yanarym to respond and he walked her away from the resort.

"Kane, where are we going?"

"We need to talk ... privately." Yanarym took her phone and texted a few people to tell them not to look for her as they got away. Kane led her to a secluded spot in the woods. For wealthier visitors, the island has been a popular tourist destination. Apart from the upscale resorts, the island has a limited number of house rentals for holidaymakers looking for a more homey atmosphere.

Kane took her there, to a modest but attractive home. It appears to be typical vacation lodging for a family. Yanarym, on the other hand, had no time to look around because she was dragged all the way to the bedroom. Kane softly slid open the door and brought her to the bed, where he sat her.

Kane sat down in front of her as well, and the two of them locked gazes. Even if he was gently handling her the whole time he was pulling her to this house, the visible envy was written all over his face.

"I have no relationship with Alvan." Yanarym was the first to speak. She saw the young doctor's reaction, clearly not believing what she was saying. Yanarym exhaled deeply and averted her eyes. "We have a relationship, okay? But he's not my boyfriend."

"What's your relationship with him?" Kane couldn't help himself and had to probe. He had a hunch as to what Yanarym might say, but he desperately wished he was wrong. Yanarym's visage suddenly changed, and there was a hint in her gesture that she didn't want to discuss any longer.

Kane's suspicions were validated by her behavior. His breathing became shallow as he felt an ache in his chest. "Rym, What kind of relationship do you have with him?" He asked her again in reverent whispers, this time grabbing her shoulder to make her turn to face him. Yanarym deliberately dodged and forced herself not to look at him, which exacerbated his anger.

"Tell me! What is he to you?!" He asked her in a stern tone. His jealousy and frustration are amplified by her reticence; he doesn't want to say anything that may jeopardize their relationship, but he can't stop himself. He was losing control of his mind over his feelings.

He looked at her, and although Yanarym was facing him, she was tilting her head to hide her face, avoiding eye contact with him. Kane pressed her arms that he was holding tightly in annoyance, causing her to weep but still choosing to remain silent. He's been more furious and his grip tightened.

"K-kane ...y-you're hurting me." Yanarym's eyes welled up with tears. Her arms were slender and frail, and he felt as if his grip was breaking her bones. Despite that, he didn't want to let go because he was afraid that if he did, she would vanish from his eyes.

Kane once expressed regret for having doubts about her due to her social standing. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice, as what's essential is that he keeps her next to him.

"If you don't like him and he's not your boyfriend. It's fine if that's all there is to it. I'll accept you as long as you don't like him ---Let's be together, Rym." He uttered passionately as his grasp on both of her shoulders eased as his arm drifted to her stature and cradled the diminutive figure of her.

He leaned onto her neck and whiffed the fragrance of her he had longed for. "I miss you, Yanarym," Kane whispered to her and gave shoulder's a peck. How many times had he dreamed of this moment? Ever since this woman entered his life, his mind has been clattered, the only clarity he could have was whenever she was with him.
