is she okay?;

i sat with my ron, a close friend of mine and my girlfriend, hermione.

my head rested on his shoulder, his head resting on mine.

*(just thought i'd point out the reader and hermione are both bisexual in this)*

i smiled gently, sighing.

my eyes fluttered open to see hermione staring at me blankly.

"hi, 'mione" i smiled, snuggling into ron's shoulder more to get comfortable.

she scoffed and left the room, walking up the stairs to her dorm.

"is she okay?" ron asked.

"i don't know, she's probably tired. she was up late last night studying" i said, "i should go check on her, shouldn't i?"

"i would"

i stood up, "see you later, ron"

"bye, Y/N" he smiled as i made my way up the stairs.

"'mione?" i said quietly, peeking into the room.

i entered the room when i saw her look at the door.

she looked back to her books.

"hermione?" i asked.

"what?" she asked bluntly.

"whats the matter?" i asked softly, sitting down next to her on the floor, placing my hand on her shoulder.

she brushed it off much to my confusion.

"wait a minute. you're not jealous?"

she scoffed again, rolling her eyes.

"you are! you saw me with ron! hermione, we're just friends you know that"

"well, how am i supposed to know that, Y/N? i don't know what happens when i'm not there!"

"nothing happens when you're not there, love"

"so why were you laying on ron like that? that's how you lay on me, Y/N!"

"because he's my friend!"

she sighed heavily, "okay"

i placed my hand back on her shoulder, "i'm sorry, love. i didn't mean to upset you. i love you and only you, okay?"

she nodded, "i love you too, Y/N"

"now, why don't you get some sleep, sweetheart?" i said softly.

we leant back against the wall after she nodded.

she laid her head on my shoulder, her arm resting comfortably on my waist.

"i love you, Y/N" she whispered as she tiredly closed her eyes.

"i love you too, honey"
