Sorry for the delay. I got stuck with something after my exams. As usual you may find some typos excuse my poor typing skills. I hope you enjoy this one . Reviews are always welcome.

Next morning Celaena woke up at dawn and found a gray surcoat, tunic and trousers lying outside her door with a tin of what must have been salve and a small note. She didn't know why she was surprised but like every other thing these faes also lacked the sense of fashion. The note didn't do much except for bringing another headache.

Treat your injury with salve. I will be present at today's training as I can't afford having you two at each other's throat in the name of training. I think your injury is enough to tell you no more nonsense will be tolerated . I will deal with Rowan but if any such thing happens again both of you will regret it.

-Gavriel

She felt like ripping Rowan's face off. Just because of that shit ass prince, she would have to deal with the two of them again . Only the fact that Rowan was also gonna face the music kept her in line. With that she got ready quickly and headed for the kitchen.

On reaching the kitchen she encountered the last person she wished to see that day. Those empty emerald eyes seemed to convey that the feeling was mutual.
Though the interior of the kitchen was as ancient as the rest of the fortress , it seemed cleaner and somehow more organised as if it wasn't a part of that messy place. Two figures were bustling through it when she entered both wearing white aprons.
Rowan while addressing the older male said, "This is..."
"Elentiya" Celaena interrupted and shot Rowan, a look which would have sent lesser men running but he got the message. Dare not reveal my identity, I will kill you if you so much as try.

I would love to see you try. He gave her an equally annoying glare. But thankfully he kept his mouth shut.
"She is your new scullery maid but only for breakfast after that she is supposed to train with me." He continued but while talking to the silver haired male the usual arrogance of his voice had disappeared replaced by what seemed respect. Perhaps he had some princely manners still in there.
The old man took a step towards her , his long hair was tied back neatly, his skin tanned probably from hours of working in the kitchen but his chestnut eyes were growing with warmth. "I am Emrys. " He said while extending a hand. She took it and shook it gently . " Have done kitchen work before ?"
"No." She hated saying it but she didn't have anything else to offer. As though he was expecting just that as an answer, Rowan sauntered out of the room . Great he had found another thing to taunt her .
"I hope you will learn it fast." Emrys said
"I'll try." Was all she could think of saying.
"That's Luca, he will help you with it." Emrys pointed towards the tawny haired young male seated on the table, busy chopping vegetables.
Celaena joined him and started chopping the onions kept there . He looked amazed by her speed, unaware of the fact that she was an assassin and owed all her chopping skills to it . He launched a conversation about the fortress and its residents steering it to her scars but when she waved him off he didn't press.
"So all of you are training to get to Doranelle?" Celaena asked .
"No , some of us are but for others like me this is a safe haven . Humans don't like our company and faes don't accept us as their people." It was Emrys who answered this time.
"But being half bred is not your fault it is that of the stupid faes residing in Doranelle."
"Demi fae." Emrys corrected."Half bred is a term used by those proud faes ,we prefer demi fae. Besides we can't help it but most of us are happy here. None of us feels left out ,we are like a big family. "
"Does her immortal Majesty hate you so much that she has put the unpredictable fae of Doranelle to oversee your training." Said Luca in an attempt to lighten the conversation.
