- YOUR POV- "Have you found the kids yet?" "No ma'am but we've evacuated all the others kids" currently I'm trying to locate the devil children at the Blackbeard adoption center I have no idea why the hell teech thought it was a good idea to open up an adoption center to find devil children. I look up and down for these children just where the hell could they be. Suddenly Koby comes running up to me with an anxious look on his face " MS.(L/N) WE FOUND AN UNDERGROUND BASEMENT NEXT TO THE OFFICE I THINK THE CHILDREN ARE LOCATED THERE" "Great koby bring me to it" we go down to the first floor where the office was located "that's why I didn't see the door it's because it was the damn desk that was actually the door" As we trek down the basement we get an eerie feeling. I look around and see a lab filled with different experiments "arsenic? ammonium? Ketamine?! Why would he be using these things when there are supposed children down here!" Koby angrily expresses. "Teech was a bastard..he didn't care at all for those kids. Let's just hope they're all right down here for now." I calmly explain. We keep walking further and see three glass cages with children and all the poisons from earlier sitting on a black table with a syringe. " damn they got a newborn in here too?" I say as I walk over to the first kid which I also assume to be the youngest. I look in and my heart feels this harrowing pain within it. I turn around and see the eldest has heard us arrive When he saw me I saw a look..a look I haven't seen in a long time and didn't expect to see. Especially from a child as young as him. I explored some more feeling the glare of the oldest piercing my back and found a blonde kid he seems about the same age as the eldest,Maybe a little younger. I look and see small blackened marks on his skin teech.. that son of a bitch,I should've tortured his ass... killing wasn't enough. As I look and grow more and more angry Koby comes and touches my shoulder he gives a sympathetic look and I calm down and find myself being the levelheaded person I usually am again. The boy wakes up and looks at me he probably hasn't slept or eaten for days as a matter of fact... none of them have. Walking back, I go back to the newborns cage " Im sorry I didn't get here earlier" I say with a apologetic look. I have always hated to admit but.. I have a soft spot for children Espe ones who go through the same things I did. When I stood up there was a loud bang coming from the two cages across from the newborns "LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU DAMN ADULTS YOU'VE HURT HIM ENOUGH! JUST STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM" I look towards the noise and see the eldest with tears in his eyes banging on the glass telling me to leave him alone. "YEA! HE IS JUST A BABY!" The blonde one yells also banging on the glass "what should be done now ms.(L/N)?" Koby asks "I'm going to take the kids into my custody and get them treated as well as take care of them until further notice.. I can't trust the new world police with them, they will just send them to some abusive orphanage" I turn around to say something to the eldest but they're still just yelling and crying yeah you know how I said I have a soft spot for kids.. that didn't mean I knew how to deal with them, especially when they're crying "Hey kid, um stop crying...please. I'm not going to hurt you or your brothers okay" I say to try and calm him down I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THIS SHIT
-ACES POV- *5 minutes earlier* I heard noises and screaming coming from upstairs I so desperately wanted to get out of here and check on sabo and luffy I look up at the cameras but, the scientist is probably watching too damn hard and honestly I'm too tired. The stupid scientist was trying some new type of experiment on him that would enhance his devil fruit and make it 10x stronger though, the set back is that it makes him pass out every time he uses his devil fruit now. *creak* I look up and see a lady with (s/c) and (e/c) and a scary ass look on her face and a tall boy with pink hair trailing her really?! More adults?! I glare at her every move wanting to make it known that I want her out of here.. If I could use my devil fruit I would've already. I wanted her to know to leave us the hell alone and just get over with what she was gonna do to us. She looks around at sabo and then at luffy .Wait...SHE MIGHT HURT HIM! *BANG BANG* she might hurt luffy and I'm too weak to fight right now I look at the scar on my stomach, then back at her "LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU DAMN ADULTS YOU'VE HURT HIM ENOUGH JUST STAY THE HELL AWAY" out of the three of us luffy's the youngest and hasn't needed to take the hard drugs. Tears well up in my eyes and my body seems to move on it's own."YEA,HE IS JUST A BABY!"Sabos awake too? I don't wanna even think about the things she might do to him either. The lady approaches me seemingly saying something but I was in my own world at this point. They have both gone through so much..I just wish I could protect my little brothers, they're all I've got left.
-YOUR POV- I guess taking matters into my own hands is the only way this will get fixed I turn on my armament haki a push on the glass with my fingertips *crack* suddenly there are huge cracks in the glass. The kid looks up and with a nervous look on his face jumps back. I push the glass and it shatters all over the floor "m-ms.(L/N)! Please be careful!" Koby yells "Koby?" I say, he stiffens "please get the kids out and check for wounds I look down at the scared kid " we're here to help you and your brothers just work with us for a little while.. okay?" I calmly try to say he says nothing.. just continuing to glare " I'll let you watch what I do I move to the blonde kid and do the same to his and finally make it to the baby still feeling that same glare from earlier. The baby's crib was on the left so I only broke the right side as to not get any glass on him. I walk in and look down at the baby. Black eyes stare back at me and he starts.. laughing? Usually not the reaction kids have with me. I pick him up and hand him over to his brothers, who keep their distance as soon as I hand him over "follow me, I know it sounds suspicious but I'm here to help" the kids glare but the blonde one finally asks "then what happened to teech" "he is dead and I killed him.. does that make you afraid?" "O-of course not!" The younger one says "good, that means we can leave without much trouble" as I finish hellmeppo comes down "ms.(l/n)! We found the documents on the devil fruit children"Hellmeppo says as he runs over. As he reaches my side he looks down at the kids who've backed away even more. Ignoring them he asks "would you like these three to go with the government or a specially made devil child center?" I look at Koby, then at the boys "actually I want these kids to go with me I'll take care of them"both the kids and hellmeppos eyes widen "MS.(L/N)! YOU CANT BE SERIOUS"he yells "YOU'RE A MAFIA BOSS WORKING WITH THE GOVERNMENT" AND THESE ARE DEVIL CHILDREN ARE YOU SURE??!" At this point my ears feel like they could bleed "I very much am,I think I would know what I'm doing ,so please go prepare some warm blankets and get these kids some damn medical treatment ASAP"both koby and hellmeppo respond to my authoritative voice "y-yes ma'am!" As they run off I look at the devil boys "are you guys ok?" I ask in the most non terrifying voice I have. They just looked at me like I just jumped out of a spaceship "what do you want with us? Why did you take us out of our cells?" The eldest finally speaks " well, I'll start off by introducing myself my name is (f/n) (l/n) and from now on I'm gonna be your caretaker from now on"
