it has been many months since you had met the person that you had believed, and still do think, to be the love of your life forever yet to have never told anyone about your relationship, apart from your parents. ahn seongmin has been your first boyfriend and currently nothing seems like it will end anywhere soon. your heart and head says forever is how long it will last even though he is quite the busy boy... you have been on secret dates together several times and sometimes on days that he had schedule but never once had it ever failed. the two of you always kept in contact whether his eight other members would be around and even if so, you pretended to be their "staff" or "friend" and till now they still believe it.

one day, just like any other day, you were just sat in front of your tv watching variety shows your boyfriend were on or even fancams of him if you really felt like it. suddenly, you felt buzz from the couch coming from your phone and as expected as it was, it could've only been a message from seongmin.

- outside cravity's dorm -
you were standing right outside his dorm door and started knocking. it only took a split second for seongmin to have opened the door as if he had waited the whole time literally right by the door. it wasn't your first time at his dorm but it still felt very awkward to you but it seemed comfortable enough to get use to quickly. seongmin helped you settle in by taking off your jacket and setting down your bag on the living room sofa.
"seongmin, are you sure we are going to be alone for a WHILE?", you asked nervously, it was things like this that never always go well. "don't worry, y/n... trust me, they take too much time doing their unnecessary nonsense outside together. they won't be home in hoursss...", he patted your shoulder as he spoke so confidently.
- time skip -
it had been just an hour of you and seongmin curled up together cuddling on his bed in his shared room and still no sounds of what sounded like his members were around. a couple minutes later you were sound asleep in seongmin's arms while his head rested on yours and suddenly a beep from the dorm door key. around eight different male voices getting louder and louder towards the kitchen and living room, not too far from the shut bedroom door where you and seongmin were sleeping together in.

"wahhh homeee!!!", hyeongjun was shouting of joy. "hyeongjun, would you mind just shutting your mouth hole? seongmin could be slee-", woobin tried keeping the members down for ages till he was cut off by minhee standing by the sofa hold y/n's bag by the strap. "hey, uh- do any of you weird shits own this?", minhee asked the room. "bet it's jungmo's, seems like something he would own...", wonjin teased as the whole room laughed but jungmo. "could you shut up? someone hold me back, i'm going to beat this b-", everyone was laughing while the group were holding wonjin and jungmo back from 'fighting'. eventually minhee gave up from the situation and went to his bedroom, the same bedroom he shared with seongmin. "OH OKA-".

you and seongmin sat right back up and out of each other's arms, at least a foot away from each other. you eyes were half wide open and you were still tired. "m- minhee hyung? i- it's not what you think it is! we are just hanging out and we are just frien-", your boyfriend was just in the middle of making his excuse until you cut him off to just tell the truth. all of the members had filled the room already when minhee had seen you two with confused faces. few members left the room early shocked (probably wonjin, hyeongjun, taeyoung and jungmo laughing as they left). you patted seongmin's back as a signal to say that it was time to expose the long relationship between the idol and the 'no-longer staff' but his girlfriend.
"so seongmin, is this really our staff? or something much more to you than that...?", the leader, serim, asked directly at the two of you. you let out a sigh thinking that seongmin still wasn't ready to reveal the relationship yet. "i'm just his frien-", you tried to lie but instead of finishing, you were cut off my seongmin's true words. "she's my girlfriend, hyung. this is y/n, you guys already know her name... i'm truly sorry that i didn't tell you guys much earlier but it seems that we were already caught before i could even tell you the truth...", he held his head down but he was surprisingly smiling. allen and taeyoung at his sides, patting his back and seongmin looks back and forth between his members and you.
"wow... he's truly a big boy now, i might cry-", hyeongjun started teasing already while putting hands below his eyes and woobin once again hit him. "well, welcome to the family, y/n!!!", minhee clapped as he then pulled everyone into a tight hug with you and seongmin in the middle blushing. with everyone around the two of you shouting random noises, seongmin pulled you into a separate hug into his own arms, you've never felt this many people by you but you didn't feel uncomfortable but instead more safer and happier.
another eight entered your life and were just as close as you and your boyfriend, and with this group always by your side, there was no possible way of ending things with any of them.
