it's been ages since you got married to your husband, Park Serim. he's been by your side since high school and still now into your adulthood. you also had given birth and taken care of your 9 year old daughter, Park y/c/n, everything has gone well since the day she was born. the family was just perfect and then one day...
"mum?", your daughter calls from just beside you. "yes love? what do you need?", you reply as she adjusted herself into your arms. "how exactly did you get married to dad?", she asked. you were quite surprised that she was going to ask that but you still had a clear memory of the special day. "well, luckily i still remember everything. it may be long but just listen in, okay? get comfortable sweetie.", you tell her as she nods and snuggles in closer to you.

you heard a knock from your door, you weren't expecting any visitors or friends coming over, maybe it was food you probably ordered but forgot about it. you open the door to see your boyfriend standing outside your door looking all clean and neat. "o- oh.. serim, what are you doing here?", you lead him inside while talking. "i'm here to take you on a date...", he replied. "a date? just out of the blue?", you thought to yourself but you couldn't resist not going so you made yourself look just as neat as him in a plain silk blouse and plain blue shorts, curled up your hair a bit and you both were out of the house ready to go on this unexpected date.
questions and many thoughts were still running through your head about how random this was. the way he was dressed, the way he was acting today, it was just all different, slightly worrying but might be special. you both stopped off at the market to buy snacks. "what are these for? are you hungry? should we just get proper food?", you asked him. "no, we are going to the beach today. i've planned it all, don't worry.", by the end of the sentence he had payed for the snacks and took your hand to walk out with him.
time flies an hour or so after a long train ride finally stopping by at the beach. he removes his hand off yours and starts running. you were so confused at this point but you chased after him, your stamina was running low every step you took. you stopped running to catch your breath and you had found yourself next to a glowing tent with rose petals surrounding it. you look around the beach but it was dark out and no sight of him, no sight of any other person either. you walk into the tent and you see the snacks you bought with serim set up nicely. you picked up your favourite snack and saw a small note on it. "step outside of the tent, take off your shoes and walk to the water... <3", the note had written and you followed its instructions. slowly walking on the soft, white sand, step by step you were by the waves.
you look out at the sea only focusing on the sound. you felt a sense of freedom and peace but only for a few minutes until you felt a touch on your wrist. you turn around and you see candles, rose petals and a red carpet set up behind you, not only that but serim too. he was knelt down on one knee holding your hand. "s- serim... what is this?", you were speechless and tears were just about ready to flow. "y/n, today is the day that i've had waited for all these long years. i am beyond ready to have you change my life forever and to keep loving you as my wife.", he softly spoken as he let go of your hand to reach for his back pocket to reveal a small box. the ring. before he could even open the box tears were flooding out of your eyes, after all this confusion this was what he had planned...
the box was opened and the ring was finally in sight and he asks the big question that changed your life. "mrs y/f/n, will you marry me?", he confessed. tears flowing harder than ever, your hand covering your mouth finally comes off and you reply. "yes! of course!", you shouted as your boyfriend, now to be known as your husband, got up and pulled you into a tight hug and eventually picked you up bridal style and kissed you. "i'm in love with you, Park y/n" he said in between the kiss. "i'm in love with you too Park Serim...".

"till this day, your dad and i call it our so - called beach date...", you finished off explaining to your daughter. she was still paying attention until your husband walked in. "dad!", she screeched as she got out of the bed as jumped into his arms and he had caught her. "hello loves, what were you just doing?", he asked while ruffling your child's hair. "mum was just telling me the story about how you and her got married", she stated as clinged onto serim's shoulders. "ohhh, our so - called beach date?", he smiled as he laid down beside you still holding the child. you reached over to kiss your husband on the lips. "eww, kissing, again?", your daughter got up to leave the room, leaving you and your husband laughing. a happy family we were indeed...
