"Stone hearted Akaashi.. So that's the name I get" The raven sighed looking up at the night sky. The people so quick to judge him. Especially after having Idalia. The names they called him for it.
" But would it have been any better.. If I had married Bokuto. They might have thought I'd betrayed my kingdom.. " Akaashi stepped back into his room. Getting to his knees he pulled a box out from under his bed. Reaching in he grabbed the old table cloth he fixed. He held it up looking at the pattern. The sun and moon as one on it. A part of him hoped it were true.
" You've got a good heart.. But I know it changes. A restless tide,Untamable" He whispered standing up the fabric in hand. Walking over to his desk he took hold of needle and thread. Stepping back into his balcony he jumped onto the ledge hanging his feat over the edge.
" You came my way and I knew a storm could come to.. You'd lift me high" Looking at the fabric he held in his hands a soft smile to his lips. But it faded quick.
" Or let me fall" He mumbled threading the needle.
" But I took your hand.. Promised I'd withstand any blaze you blew my way " He hummed pulling the needle through the fabric.
" Cause something inside it solidified. " He squeezed his eyes shut a few tears escaping.
".. And I knew I'd always stay" He set the the cloth down looking out upon the sleeping village.
" You can build me up. You can tear me down " Akaashi stepped down a foot on the narrow stone. The only thing keeping him from falling was his grip on the railing.
"You can try but I'm unbreakable" He muttered looking down at the ground below him. He drew in a breath closing his eyes. Then stepped a foot past the slim stone.
"You can do your best but I'll stand the test" The king slowly let go it the railing. The wind taking him down. He smiled slightly a vine wrapping around his foot. A small giggle leaving his lips as it pulled him up side down.
"You'll find that I'm unbreakable" He reached up undoing the vine. Having just enough time. He pulled his legs up to his chest turning into a flip. He landed with his feet to the ground instead of his head.
"When the fires burnt. And the wind has blown" He hushed walking to the stables. Taking a halter off the wall he walked over to his horse. Softly stroking his head Akaashi slipped on the halter.
" Let's go for a night ride Sol " Akaashi smiled walking the horse out of the stables. A hand on the halter he jumped up swinging a leg over.
" Going bear back since you hate a saddle " He laughed slightly as they started on.
"When the waters dried, you'll still find stone" The moon smiled drawing the dagger from his boot.
" My heart of stone" Akaashi lifted his arm aiming. Then in then blink of an eye the dagger was in a tree a few feet from him.
"You said we're perfect.. A perfect family" He sighed resting his head on Sol's golden main.
" You held us close for the world to see" He brushed a hand through the golden locks dividing them into three.
" And when I say you're the only one I've ever loved" He let the braid go taking the reigns Sol speeding up.
" I mean those words. Truthfully " Akaashi reached a hand up brushing away a tear.
" But I know" He stopped Sol outside the old cabin.
" Without our daughter your love could disappear " Akaashi got off Sol tieing him to a tree. He opened the door stepping inside a feeling of guilt over coming him.
"And tho it isn't fair. Well I don't care! " He returned to Sol undoing the reigns. Jumping back on they were gone.
"Cause my love" The moon found himself riding outside the walls of the sun kingdom.
"will still be here" They came to a stop outside Bokuto's room. Akaashi saw him come over to the window. It was dark but he saw the other person in the room. A girl. On his side like a leach.
" You can build me up, you can tear me down. You can try but I'm unbreakable" That stupid girl. He didn't know who she was. He didn't want to.. He just wanted to be in her spot
" You can do your best, but I'll stand the test. You'll find that I'm unshakeable " He brushed his tears away.
" When the fire's burnt. The wind has blown. The water's dried, you'll still find stone" He gripped the reigns tight turning them around. Back to his land of darkness. His safe place back in the castle walls. His lonely room.
Akaashi jumped off Sol's back taking him to the stables. Removing the reigns he hung them back on the wall. Running up to his room. But he stopped in his tracks.
" The itsy bitsy spider " Konoha sang.
" Climbed up the water spout" Idalia giggled. Akaashi smiled softly whipping away a stray tear.
" Soon I'll have to go" He whispered listening to them.
" I'll never see her grow.. But I hope my daughter will know" He lefted the uncle and niece singing.
"She'll never be alone" He entered his room returning to the balcony.
" Cause like a river runs dry; and leaves just scars behind! " He gripped the railing tight.
" I'll be by your side.. Cause my love " Akaashi looked up at the moon and stars.
"Is set in stone... " He hesitated but jumped onto the railing standing up. Holding his arms out enjoying the moon rays.
" my heart of stone.. " He whispered reaching his hand up as if he could hold the moon in his hands. Akaashi drew his hand back in letting his tears fall. So call him stone hearted. Maybe his was stone hearted. Closing off the world. Only allowing certain people in.
" Keiji. Why do you always sneak out? " Konoha asked behind Akaashi. The king jumped loosing his footing. His friend reaching out and grabbing his hand pulling back before he fell.
" I-.. Thanks Akinori.. I just needed a break " Akaashi smiled pushing Konoha out of his room. An: hi, hello I'm musical trash.. Hehehe.
