"Aye! That's my mother you fools!" Poe screeched smacking the back of y'all's heads, you subconsciously wiped the drool from your mouth and made a mental note to thank God creating for women as you walked into the small shop.

You bumped your head up and down to the beat as your fingers drummed against the side of Moose's candy apple red Impala. The extra large subwoofers he and his brother installed in the trunk made the car bounce with every bump of the bass. The sun was shining gorgeously across those California palm trees and for a moment you couldn't understand how anyone would want to live anywhere but here.

Moose had already lit his morning blunt and threw back his head to blow the smoke into the blue sky above him as he steered the car with one ring covered hand. You all had a rule that whoever was driving that day controlled the aux so you had no problem when When I Come Around by Dom Kennedy came flooding out those speakers that shook the seat and left a vibration in your chest. Coco and Poe were spread out across the back seats facing each other, in the red and cream chairs Moose had custom installed to spin around 180 degrees.

You sung the song cockily, as you looked around the streets throwing up the deuce to whoever you saw as most people knew you and your friends since you were little. From the homies who hung around the gas station to the Mexican vendors that sold your favorite fruit, corn, and ice cream on every corner, they were all like a family to you who knew just who you all were when they saw Moose's bright red Impala coming down the street.
