A/n: so this is a quick one shot that has been on my mind, I have this best friend and I haven't seen him in 2 years (we've been friends for almost 10 but I moved) and I just envisioned that if we ever met up again I'd want it to be like this :(  so I'm combining one of my favorite people into a story that is close to my heart! Enjoy!

Two years. That's how long it's been since you've seen him. You'd met him on the set of Billy Elliot when you were young, and when you both got incredibly famous, you schedules began to clash.

That's when you moved away from England to Los Angeles to be closer to your work. You and Tom didn't really leave each other on good terms either. Tom had said something that you strongly disagreed with, and you made sure he knew that. Tom made the horrible decision to leave you angry.

"I can't believe you think that! Do you realize that goes against everything your grandmother taught you?" You shouted. "Don't you bring her into this." "You know damn well she would kill you if she knew you said that." "Well you know what? I said it. And there's nothing you can do to change it." He crossed his arms. "I have a flight to catch. Thank you for taking me to the airport." You said, pulling your bag out of the car, tears in your eyes. "Bye, Y/n." He said, shutting the back hatch of the car. "Can I at least have a hug?" He asked, sticking his bottom lip out. "No." You smirked. "You can hug me when I come back." You turned and left.

That was one of the only regrets in your life. Not hugging him goodbye. Leaving him mad. After awhile you swallowed your pride and apologized to him for the way you acted. He did too. After some time apart, the two of you had so many acting gigs you weren't sure if you'd ever see him again. "Hopefully this summer we can come back to England." You said. "Yeah, we could spend the entire summer together. It's been almost two years since I've seen you." Tom said from the other side. "You'd do that?" You asked, biting your nail. "Yeah Y/n, we've been friends for nearly ten years now, I think I'd be able to spend the summer with you." He chuckled. "Right. Man time flies when you're an actor." "Or actress." He corrected you. "No no no. I'm an actor. Actors make more money than actresses." You smirked.

"You're mental." He laughed. "So I've been told." You said. "Hey, I have to go, breaks over." You said. "Goodnight Tommy." "Bye Y/n." He said as you hung up the phone. 'Gosh I miss him.' You thought.

"Wait what?" You squealed. "What?" "We wrap on the same day!" You said. "Holy shit! That means-"
"We can spend the summer together! I get to see you again!" You saw the grin appear on his face. "It's been so long since I've seen you, do you think it's gonna be weird?" You asked. "Nah. Ten years can't be changed that easily." He said. "Great. I'll see you later then?" "Yeah." He said, and hung up.

"What do you mean?" "I mean this job is offering me millions. You know how amazing the Russo brothers are. I can't turn it down Y/n." Tom said over the phone. "We've been waiting to see each other for two years." You said quietly. "I know. And I'm sorry. You can come to the set can't you?" He asked. "No, Tom. I can't. I thought we agreed to spend June together. I start filming again in July." "Well where at?" "Switzerland." You said. "Jeez. Switzerland is eight hours ahead of Los Angeles." "Yeah. We'll hardly have time to talk to each other." "But what's another six months?" "Six months!?" You shouted. "There's a lot of time that passes in the movie. The Russos want me to stay in the area while we're filming." "I have to wait another six months? Tom I was going to see you next week. I can't believe you." Your eyes welled with tears. "I'll see you on November twenty-seventh." He said, and hung up.

You set your bag down on the counter of the small cottage-esque house you were living in. You actually loved it, it had a beautiful view of the backyard, along with the mountains. You sighed, and walked over to the fridge. It'd been a few weeks since you'd last heard from Tom, and you honestly wish he'd just call, because your stubborn ass wasn't going to do it.
