After they were sure he was well and could walk again, Silas dragged me to the building with the meeting rooms in it, the woman and Callum following behind.
When we came to a smaller yet beautifully equipped room, we stopped. There was a big table in the middle where most likely all the planning finds place. We had a place like that as well. Here the walls were of a rich brown color and rugs and maps are hung on them. Other than that they were only some chairs but nothing really more.
It looks like it hasn't been used lately, which must be true considering they only just came back. I wondered were they had been. Were they on a secret mission?
Now I was standing here, Silas still behind me. The woman and Callum facing me.
The woman had blonde hair and deep brown skin. It was kinda contrasting and normally I would have thought it to be just good looking but she was literally breathtaking.
She practically roared of beauty and strenght. It was clear that she is the leader of them. The leader of this whole rebellion.
And now I kinda began to doubt if the mission of them is really so unlikely to happen bacause she defnitely had the presence of a ruler and her whole energy seemed to scream sunshine and light.
Can she really be...? No, there is literally no way, she would long be dead.
"So", the probable leader began. "Who are you?"
She didn't looked appaled or biased but rather curiously and sincerely. I liked her.
When I did not answer, Callum stepped in: "We found her two weeks ago. At the massacered rebellion group building. She was the only survivor."
He now looked at me more curious than ever before. When we first met he rather seemed caught up in his own mind but know he was more than present and interested. His gray weren't stormy gray but now rather like the sky when sun rays were breaking through.
The woman and Callum again looked at me expectantly. I knew I should say something but I couldn't get myself to it, not when I still have to overcome the fact that I used my powers again although I promised myself not to. Just two weeks was I able to keep my promise, that is pathetic. But I couldn't help it. Callum had helped me the day they had found me. Who knows what I may have done without them, I might already be dead. So, I had to help him, repay the favor.
Sighing, Callum spoke again "I think her name was Bella or something." He actually looked a little embarressed that he did not remember it exactly but he also looked challenging at me.
The three of them exchanged looks with each others.
"So, can't you talk anymore or what?", I heard a voice say from behind me. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. Of course he had no patience.
"Silas! You can't say that!", the woman exclaimed shocked. At that I almost chuckled. I thought it was good that she put him in his place.
Figuring that being silent would do nothing I spoke "Actually, it is Abella." My voice was a firmer than I myself felt.
At my answer they were looking at me again and the blonde in front of me smiled. She reminded me of Myra with her joyful appearance. It was bittersweet.
"Hey Abella, I am Solina. And this unfriendly idiot behind you is Silas. Callum you already know." I nodded and heard Silas giving an unapproving sound from him as she called him an idiot. With my movement I looked down and my hands came into my view.
They were full of Callums blood. Theirs were also stilled full of blood but it didn't seem to bother them. They seemed used to it. I didn't know what I should think about that. They all defnitely did not seem as if they were afraid to fight. All of them had defined muscels showing more or less through their clothes. Also, they had a expression in their eyes, suggesting their past and the hurt and violence that happened to them.
