They slowly got closer to the edge of the camp. I nervously fidgeted on the dagger, not as careless as the ones on Nadyas team though. I sighed. This was not going to end well. I didn't trust myself to move too much, afraid someone might saw me. What I spy I would have been. I laughed ironically. Even now afraid when I was just a bystander.

I liked to think that my fear rooted because this heist had to do with the people who killed everyone I knew. The Royals. But I also knew that only a foul would have no respect of this. I really hoped they somehow made it out alive. Not only because Alad still had to witness that I was in no way trying to run away, but also because I grew to like the group over the journey as they made jokes and told stories. It would feel weird to never see them again, hear their howling laughed when Alad or one of  the others made a bad joke.

I watched them as they arrived near the camp boarder which was marked by a high wooden fence. The teams parted and proposingly Alad directed his group towards the back over the right side while Nadya and her team made their way over the left side.

They decided they would both attack on the same area. One from either side. I that will do the trick we'll see. My attention went to the people wandering around the tents. The guards seemed careless and although I couldn't see it clearly I actually believe not many were walking around by our target. They were mostly assembled at one of the bonfires where they could get something to eat.

I held my breath as Alad as his group first arrived their post. I had my attention focused so much on them that I barely noticed that somebody had come to me. I couldn't made a move when I felt a sword in my bag.

"Why did you leave?", a voice asked. The dark and rich tone indicating it was Draven. What was he doing here? I did not know if I should be relieved that it was no guard or frightened because of the very same reason. Nervously I let out a laugh "Funny story, Alad told me you guys were fine with me going. I swear I had no idea that he lied."

He grumbled unsatisfied but still moved his sword away from me. He did not pack it away though but kept it next to him, still very visible and ready to use. A warning for me to not do a wrong move.

I felt his gaze on me and also turned to him. Compared to me his outfit was way more fitting than mine. I was wearing leggings, a top and a light jacket while he was in full armament. He again was wearing all black yet now he had no blood on him. His hair pulled back and his face even more tensed. His scar in the little light barely visible. He looked angry. Shit.

"Really!", I said again, trying to ease his anger. He ignored my statement and instead shifted his eyes towards the camp where Alad still waited for Nadyas group to be in position. Again Draven did not look that happy. He clenched his jar and shake his had no. "What the fuck, do they think they are doing?", he exclaimed harshly. I felt my stomach lighter in response. He really did have authority and power and he did not retreat from using them.

"They are trying to pull a heist.", I unnecessarily answerer. It was clear he already knew that. He snorted. "What?", I asked longer, his disrespect fueling me.

"They really think that this is going to work?", he rhetorically asked and I bet he would have laughed, would he normally also laugh. But instead his serious expression was still present. A amused glimmer in his eyes. Shortly repressing his hard look in them.

I wanted to retort something but couldn't. Of course he was right. This heist they planned is indeed a suicidal mission. "Maybe you could help them?", I proposed carefully. It was clear that he had no intention in doing so.

Again, he snorted. "Now, why would I do that?", he asked. The glimmer still in his eyes. He found it amusing that this mission is going to fail and I asked him to help. What an asshole. "They decided themselves to go down there.", he stated.
