Finding Aurora

Chapter 1

Damien POV

*ring* *ring*

"What do you want?" I said with an irritated tone.

"Boss I think we just saw Jason walking a pizza place." Said one of my panicking men.

"Are you sure? Where are you?" I said a bit calmer.

"It looked just like him from 3 years ago. I'm at the corner of Grover street across from the pizza place" he said.

"Okay I will be over in 10 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on him and call me if he leaves." I said.

As soon as I hung up the phone I sprinted into the living room yelling "Family Meeting".

A herd of foot steps came from upstairs and my 3 younger brothers began walking down the stairs to the living room.

"What the fuck is going on? I was sleeping god damnit" said Stone angrily. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Shut the hell up and sit down all of you" I shouted.

They all quickly sat down on the couch and out of the corner of my eye I saw Stone roll his eyes at me.

"I just got a call from one of our men saying that he saw Jason over by Grover street" I said and I saw all of the boys's eyes widen, even Stones.

"Are you sure? This has happened before where somebody thought they saw Jason but it was false"said Nathan.

"I'm not 100 percent sure but it's worth a shot to go and see if it's him or not" I said.

"Cmon then lets go" said Nathan.

We all ran up from the couch and put on our shoes and ran out the door to the car.

Jason's POV

*2 hours before he went to the pizza place*

"No. Don't leave me please bubby ." Wined Aurora.

"I'm sorry princess but it's not safe for you to come with me and I'll be back in about 2 hours. I will lock the door and make sure your safe" I said calmly.

"B-but I don't like being alone and I'll miss you" Aurora said with teary eyes.

I picked her up and started stroking her hair.

"You will be okay baby. I'll pick up some pizza on my way home. How does that sound?" I said hoping she wouldn't start crying.

"Fine but you have to get it with no mushrooms cause they are nasty" she said while crossing her arms.

"You are so sassy but fine since you are the baby" I said jokingly.

I set her down on the couch and turned on cartoons for her. I put on my shoes and gave her a kiss on the forehead before saying "I'll be backs soon princess. I love you".

"Ok I love you too" she said quietly.

I knew she was upset with me but I had to get my job done.

While walking to the underground club I thought about what my life could have been like if my mother didn't divorce my dad and take me with her and separating me from my other brothers but the only reason I'm happy she left him is because a year later she had Aurora. Aurora may only be my half sister but she's my everything. I don't know what would have happened to me if Aurora wasn't around. After I found our mother dead on the kitchen floor with a needle next to her, I took on the responsibility of taking care of Aurora. That day I promised I would always protect Aurora and never let anything bad happen to her.
