Finding Aurora

Chapter 16

Leo's POV

After being able to kiss Aurora goodnight I had the best sleep in years.

When I woke up I instantly went into Auroras room to she if she was awake but she wasn't there.

Where the hell is she? It's only 7am.

Walking by Stones room I looked in to see if he was awake and what I saw shocked me.

Aurora had her head on his chest and he had his arms wrapped around her. They were both sound asleep.

I never thought there was a soft spot for Stone but I was wrong.

Nathan walked in and stared at them "awww" were the only words he said.

I just laughed a bit at him.

Stones eyes shot open and he stared intensely at Nathan and I.

"Shut up" he said groaning.

"I never thought i would see the day where the big badass Stone King had a soft spot for his baby sister" Nathan said jokingly.

"Get out before you wake her up" Stone said.

Nathan and I walked out laughing.

Walking into the kitchen Damien was on his phone with coffee in his other hand.

"Good morning" he said not looking up from his phone.

"Your not gonna believe it but Stone has a big soft spot for Aurora. She had her head on his chest and he had his arms around her sleeping" I said.

"That's a surprise" he said a bit shocked.

Stones POV

After being woken up by Leo and Nathan I couldn't go back to sleep.

I just stared down at Aurora. She looks so peaceful while sleeping and I loved feeling her warmth next to me.

I phone buzzed. It was from my friend, Kody.

"Bro what time are you coming into work?"

Shit I forgot I said I would go into work early.

"Leaving now" I replied.

I didn't want to leave Aurora here alone. I'll take her to Leo or Nathan.

I quietly got out of bed and picked her up. Luckily she didn't wake up.

I went down the stairs into the kitchen. Nathan was sitting at the table on his phone.

"I have gotta go to work can you watch her until she wakes up?" I asked.

"Sure" he said happily.

He carefully took her out of my arms and she rested her head in the crook of his neck.

I said goodbye and left.

Auroras POV

I woke up not in the same place I had fell asleep last night.

I sat up and looked at Nathan who's lap I was sleeping on.

He was just staring at me with a smile on his face.

"Good morning sis"

"Morning" I replied yawning.

"Do you want breakfast?"

I shook my head no "I want Bubby" I said.

I didn't sleep with him last night so I felt the need to see him.

"He is still sleeping. Do you wanna wake him up" Nathan asked.

"Yes" I said with a evil grin.

Bubby is going to be mad at me for waking him up but I have Nathan to protect me.

We went upstairs to Jason's room.

"On the count of 3 lets run in and jump on him" Nathan said.

I nodded.

"3..2..1.. NOW"

Nathan and I ran into the room and jumped onto Jason.

His eyes shot open fast "what the hell"

Nathan and I were just laughing at him.

"Oh you are in trouble missy" Jason said trying to grab me.

"Help" I yelled to Nathan.

Nathan picked me up and we ran downstairs with Jason also chasing us.

I couldn't stop laughing at them.

"Let's bribe him with food" Nathan said.

I nodded my head giggling.

"Jason if you stop chasing us I'll make you chocolate chip pancakes" Nathan yelled.

"Ok deal" Jason said and stopped running after us.

Jason took me from Nathan's arms.

I gave him a hug "I missed you Bubby"

Jason laughed "it was only a night. Did you like sleeping in your new room?"

"I-I woke up cause I had a nightmare and I couldn't find your room but Stone found me and he let me spend the night with him" I said.

"Ok" we're the only words Jason said.

I couldn't tell if he was mad or sad.

"I-I'm sorry"

"Princess it's not your fault it's ok" he said comforting me.

"Pancakes are done" Nathan yelled from the kitchen.

We sat down and I put some syrup on my pancake.

"Damien wanted me to take you guys shopping today" Nathan said taking a sip of his orange juice.

I've never really been shopping before. It sounds exciting.

"Ok thank you" Jason said.

After breakfast Jason gave me a bath and I changed my clothes.

"Ready?" Nathan asked walking into my room.

"Yes just let me brush her hair" Jason said.

"Can Nathan brush it?" I asked.

Jason looked surprised "sure. Do you wanna?" He asked Nathan.

Nathan nodded his head and smiled at me.

We went into the bathroom and I sat on the counter while Nathan brushed my hair.

"No you gotta do it this way" I said showing him the correct move.

"Ok sorry I'm new to this" Nathan said.

I giggled at him.

"All done"

"Thank you" I said giving him a hug.

We went out to the car and I sat in the backseat while Nathan and Jason sat in the front.

I'm so excited to go shopping.
