Kakyoin pov

"Here you go sir." said one of the hospital staff.

It was 5:30 in the morning on December 15, 2006. I was exhausted, we were all exhausted. But now I was able to hold my daughter for the first time.

"All that work for her to look exactly like you." Cerise said.

She wasn't wrong. Even though she was just a newborn our daughter already had reddish pink hair, and my skin tone.

"Yeah but we still love you, right Sakura?" I said to the wailing newborn.

"Can I hold her now?" asked Cerise.

"You didn't even need to ask, I already knew you were going to ask that." I chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah I know, now give me the child!" she grumbled.

"Ok, here you go." I said as I passed Sakura to Cerise.

"I used to be terrified of kids so how did we even end up here?" I said jokingly

"You met a sixteen year old with a pompadour named Josuke who liked video games that you practically adopted because it's been six years since then and he still, everyday, without fail, shows up at our house in the morning to play video games with you for about two hours." she replied.

"Uh oh."

"You forgot to tell him didn't you."

"Yeah..."

"Well go call Tomoko and explain."

"Got it mon amour." I said as I walked over to the landline phone that hung on the wall.

"Higashikata residence, Tomoko speaking" grumbled the woman on the other side of the phone.

"Good morning Tomoko, this is Noriaki speaking."

"Oh good morning Noriaki! How is Cerise doing? Isn't she getting close to her due date?"

"Oh about that... we're in the hospital right now, that's actually why I called, we probably won't be home so could you let Josuke know to not come over today?"

"Of course! Is everything okay?"

"Actually yes! Our daughter was born this morning!"

"Oh congratulations! I can't wait to meet her!"

"Thank you Tomoko! Now I'm sure you probably want to get back to sleep so I'll let you go now!"

"Thank you Noriaki, and tell Cerise that I say hi."

"Will do!"

I hung up the phone and turned to my wife.

"Tomoko says Hi." I said.

"That's nice of her, would you be willing to call my brother? I want to tell him as well." she asked.

"I don't mind." I said, turning back to the phone and Dialing my brother in law.

"Good morning, Polnareff speaking" mumbled Polnareff. I could hear my seven year old nephew repeating the words 'dad' over and over again.

"Good morning Jean, we wanted to call you to inform you that you are now officially an uncle!"

"Wait really!? She had the baby? What is it?"
