this is a fic i've been planning out for a while, but it won't be worked on a whole bunch until the 'out of control' series is finished, so if i haven't finished that yet, i'm super sorry. but if i have, and i'm working on this- or heaven knows i've completed it- then yay for you! you don't have to deal with my weird posting schedule.

as you can tell by now, i do have writing experience, and this isn't one of those 'lisanna kicks lucy out of the guild, lucy learns every magic type in existence and can also create money so she never needs to work, then ends in in sabertooth and somehow doesn't destroy the economy' fics. we have too many of those. and most of them are written like no one knows what a plot is.

no, this fanfiction has been thought out [unlike 'ooc', in which the first book is the bane of my existence but i'm too tired to rewrite it all] and i have two original characters. 

now, you're probably thinking 'two ocs? how is that gonna work, i can only remember so many characters!' and well, yeah, i hate having to remember every little detail to understand the story as well.

thankfully, this book isn't like that. these 'original characters' are based off of my friend and i -> you can go check her out if you want, i'll put her @ at the bottom of the page -> and aren't unrealistic. no, i'm not trying to diss any other fics out there, and if you're one of the people who have written one of the mentioned fics, hi- how are you? thank you for taking time out of your day to write fanfiction for free, without anyone asking you to do so. :) seriously, thanks, without those fanfictions i would have never gotten addicted to wattpad & met my best friend. <3

anyways. you're here for the synopsis, aren't you. :) this is a soulmate au fic - i'm a soulmate au addict.. so i just had to write one for my bae. XD

gears & maya are two wizards looking for a small guild to call home and work. deciding that a once famous rag-tag group of wizards was the best place to be, they decide to start their journey- unknowing that their one decision could change their lives forever.

yes, i write in lowercase for the aesthetic, however, my writing isn't actually like this in the book- so do with that information what you will. and the moment you've been waiting for! the end of my longer than necessary author's note! sorry about that, just wanted to say a few things before we get started.
